Provolone and Rain
I love Provolone. At first I was kinda skeptical but now that I've had it a few times, I've decided I really love Provolone. It's so yummy and nice and stretchy when it's all melty... Yummy!
And I've fallen in love with the Greene. I've tried a couple of the sandwiches in the Courtyard Cafe but so far the Greene is the best. The first time I had it, it was okay. Personally I thought they put too much humus on it that time. The second time was disastrous and I ended up only eating like half of it.
Third time was yesterday and even though they didn't have any roasted peppers (out), it was still really yummy. I wasn't even hungry yesterday and I still ate it all. And since yesterday lunch, I've had the urge to eat it again.
So that leads me to today! I got back after lab like before 6 PM (which has NEVER happened before since the damn class actually starts at 5 PM) so I had time to get something from downstairs. Janet and I are meeting up later tonight to work on Chem so I needed enough time for to eat before she came over.
When I got down there, there was a huge line for the sandwiches and I was, gah! I ended up waiting like for 10 minutes in the damn line. And the bread selection today was so dismal. They didn't even have my favorite type of bread (round, semi-crunchy crust but mostly soft) and I had to make do with this weird bread that I felt like was way too crumbly and hard. :( But I wanted my Greene! So I bared with it.
It turned out all well and good though. The bread turned out to be a little harder than I usually have it but it still was okay. So yummy...
So, the Greene. It basically consists of: humus, provolone cheese, pepper jack cheese, roasted peppers, and onions. Sooo goood! And if you think about it, also vegetarian. ^^
Ah, that was the highlight of my day.
I skipped Chem lect. today... I stayed up a bit too late doing my rough draft for my second essay for WTE. It turned out to be 14 pages! Waaayyyy toooo loooonnnnggg. My partner's was only three... I felt bad making her read that piece of shit. It so didn't make sense, lol. There were some really random parts and parts of it address different problems... *embarrassed laugh* It was a really hard essay to get out and it was late. Anyway, I'm gonna have some major revisions to do this weekend...
I skipped Chem. lect. for the first time. It doesn't really matter but I still feel bad about it. I know it's a pointless class since all he does is read his lecture notes (which we all had to buy!!!) and I fall asleep for most of the class anyway but still... I did try to get up at 7 AM but I was just so bone tired so I decided to just skip it. Whatever.
I went to work study today. That was totally pointless... I sat there laminating these array cards (the kids use them to learn multiplication tables) and cutting them out. Only I did five freaking sets of them, each with 17 pages. And those 17 pages had about 2-10 arrays each. Do you know how long it takes to cut those damn things out?! Or to laminate 85 freaking sheets of paper?! Damn long! And it's soooo mindless! I went crazy doing them. I worked from the time I was there at 9:45 until I left at 1:30 and I still wasn't finished! *dies* I just stopped thinking all together. If it wasn't for my stomach all rumbly (didn't have a lunch since I was too lazy to make/buy one), my mind would have been totally out of there. Gah, to think I have some more of that shit to do next time I go... *makes a face* At least I'm almost done.
But sometime during the time I was at the school, it started to rain and so far it hasn't stopped. So much rain and it's sooo damn cold. I had walk in the rain back to the campus, from the campus back to the dorm, then back down for my bio lab and then back. I swear, it just started to rain harder and harder. And it's old, wet rain! Eww! I hate being wet.
But I was soooo happy to have my new umbrella with me. So nice! There was wind and for once, I was not the laughingstock of the street with the up-turned umbrella! Love my umbrella to death! *heart heart* It was a good $8 well spent! :) My old umbrella was such a piece of crap. Totally worthless. But then it was only $0.99 so I guess you get what you pay for...
Ah, now to do some catch up, and then chem. God, I'm so tired. *shakes head* I can't believe tomorrow's already Friday. Damn, where the hell did the time go? Bio exam is in a week! Calc is less than a week! Chem is in two weeks! *freak out mode!*
