I am tired. And sleepy. And pretty exhausted but not quite there yet. But for the most part, I am just puckered out. I don't usually say that but it's true.

And it's pretty late today… I would have written something earlier but… We went to Applebee's and pretty much half the group got drunk.

Yup. But I did get to bond with the other non-drinkers of the group. I like Yeji. She's so nice. And she's Korean. If I didn't know better, I would say she was Chinese but she's not. She's so tiny! And so nice. She's 22 and am a pre-dental part-time student who is graduating this May… So she won't be on the trip next year.  Sad for me. She's always been in the other car so we haven't really talked… Our car is pretty solid so… They're talking about mixing up the cars for the trip back tomorrow (oh my God!) because we'll be driving at night and they need drivers… And the fact that they need to separate Nick and Stella… They have something wrong going on there. I don't know what but yeah, it's messed up and they shouldn't be together. Hopefully they're just switching out Stella for Betty but I really like Betty! I'm gonna miss her…  And I hope to God I won't be stuck in the other van. It's so terrible in there – not as cool (as in technologically advanced) and smaller too. I would hate it. Our van and our people are cool.

Okay, I want to keep this entry short because I need sleep. Usually I'd be asleep by now.

Today it snowed. And the schools closed. And the snow didn't stick. And half of it was rain. Yeah, that's about it. Me and Betty went with Bob's group and sorted metal for recycling and for money. That was hard, heavy and dirty work. I got so yucky, it wasn't even funny. And it was like hard labor sorting those metal pieces… We slowed down so much after like an hour and a half. Gah, it was hard.

Then we broke for lunch and went back to the site. There we got Biscuitville food. And they really were biscuits. They had ham and sausage and I had one of each. Sausage was good but they weren't really filling.

But after that we went back, finished the job and finished early and went to shower. After that, since we were like an hour early, I attempted to read but ended up dozing for a bit until dinner.

I stuffed myself at dinner. I had so much food and so much desert. It was terrible. I'm still full but not for that reason. And we got T-shirts from the function. It was great because we got to meet all the homeowners. They were all black and I can't help but wonder why there weren't any white trash people here. I mean the economy here has basically been exported to places warm so there should be poor white people…

Anyway, I found out more about Bob. Turns out he was a Reverend. I can see it. He likes long speeches about God. Gah.

My eyes hurt. I will try to finish up. I'll try to elaborate later but Sherry needs sleep.

After that there was talk about bowling but they were closed (we were smart enough to call first) and then a sports bar but they decided on Applebee's. Which is good because if it was a sports bar, I would have totally refused considering I'm a non-drinker myself.

We went and all got drinks (Pepsi for me) and they totally didn't card. And we got food. Stella was stressed and had two beers and five cigarettes for the entire day. Which was surprising since she had quite. We think it was a Nick thing. Anyway, that's what happened there…

We had some nice talks and it was good. I was glad I went. Yeji and Amanda were both non-drinkers and so was Betty so we had some nice conversations about various things. And we got some food and even though I was fully, I still had some. God, their spinach artichoke (or was it avocado?) dip was sooo good. I couldn't get enough of it that I just kept eating even though I was full… We ended up racking up a bill of $90. It wasn't that bad and it was covered by the budget so that's all good.

And then we tried to get back to the church. Since Betty and Stephen were the designated drivers, Betty had to go into the other car and ended up leading us. All the way to North Carolina. Again. It wasn't so funny this time around but now I can say I've been to North Carolina twice.

Anyway, that's about it. I have nothing else to say and it's two minutes after midnight. I can go to sleep now. Yayness.
