sherryillkMust avoid anime conventions at all costs. I don't care how good AX would be -- those cosplay people will make me run away and want to deny that I even like anime.
*shudders* Just saw some horrendous cosplay pictures. If they suck, people shouldn't put them online. Especially where I can see them and go, "ick!"
I don't think I want to meet any other anime fans in real life. I think I would feel a lot better knowing I don't know what these people look like. I know, I'm terrible for being so judgmental but I can't help it... Even the people at Club Anime...they were weird. I don't accept weird very well. I'm weird but it's an accepted kind of weird. Those who are weird out side of society's bounds are scary people. I don't know whether to think of them as brave or just stupid.
I can argue that it shouldn't matter what people think just as easily that it's unreasonable to say that what people think don't matter. Who is right? Who do we favor? Society? Self? Is there a way to answer this to give me an easily answer?
It's late at night, I have to do my essay, I just saw some terrible pics of people cosplaying that just make me want to scream at how they ruined one of my favorite characters by trying to be them but failing terribly. I'm at a weird state right now.
And back to the essay. I'm writing about how Solzhenitsyn knows shit what he's talking about and how the almighty Tucker is absolutely correct when it comes to the fact that the Soviet Union has roots in Russian history. Right.
I am desperately hoping S-O release another episode Peach Girl before I leave. And one of Negima. I need to get those off my comp now.
And yay! They released H2! ^_____^ Sherry is very pleased.
But back to Peach Girl, I previewed 14 (latest one) and it seems like it ends in a rather bad place and I would rather it not end there. And Momo is finally with Okayasu! ^^ I think Hayami Sho is the seiyuu for Ryo but I can't be sure. Ryo is a bastard from what I remember and he won't be changing. It's too bad. I'd like him to become all good and all. :)
And looking at the summaries for Peach Girl manga, damn they go fast. I've never read it but at episode 14, they've already past like 10 volumes of manga. Wow. This will definitely end. Just when I'll get it is the problem...
I don't want to leave yet! Leaving this great T3 connection is just wrong. I'm so happy downloading things at these high speeds! I'm gonna miss it so much. Don't want to leave yet! Must maximize all the fast internet time I can get my hands on!
I've saved up a lot of stuff for the summer so hopefully I won't go into withdrawal... Plus, I have some more stuff from Masha I can dip into as well so hopefully I'll be adequately entertained.
And back to essay for real. I must get something concrete down tonight. I have an hour more, I should be good if I could ever stop this procrastination.
