Getting Ready

Well I got my laptop yesterday at Best Buy. It took us two hours to decide on it but I still got it. It was under $1100 (with $200 in rebates) which was less than I had intended on spending on it so I was happy. It's certainly a lot better than the Dell ones I had looked on the internet about.

It's a Toshiba and it has a 512 MB memory, 60 gig hard drive, CD-RW/DVD combo drive, Intel Pentium 4 processor at 2.8 GHz. I'm happy.

We also signed up for that Best Buy Reward Zone thing (mom was originally against it) but now I can't log in... :( Was I supposed to have a password set up? Je ne sai pas... I'm not even sure if my member id on my card is my member id that I'm supposed to use on the website... And I can't even use that whole "forget your password" thing because the email address that I had used for them back when we got our second computer is totally unusable since I've never been able to get into that account.

We also got a really huge piece of luggage for all of my belongings. If all of them do not fit in there, I'm going to be really really shocked. Really. It's 32" tall for god's sake! That's the biggest I have ever seen any luggage. It's almost scary...

I also have a credit card set up and next week I will have my WaMu bank account. It's starting to freak me out a bit. My mom is going to be paying for just about everything... I'm going to hopefully get my own credit card account since I can't use hers for anything other than emergencies. I need something to order online with.

Damn it, FF.net is down. Just when I found a SasuNaru fic that was pretty good.

What else was I going to talk about? Oh yeah, I'm going to be meeting Merrie for lunch in about a week. We'll have nice reminiscing session and a proper goodbye. *sniffs*

Anyway, I'm downloading the PoT OST 3 again since it failed on me that other night... I still need a cropper though... After this next download and I'm going to find a good program for it. Hopefully. *crosses fingers*

Got It!

I finally got my roommate info. One is from Massachusetts, two from New Jersey, one from Vermont and one from Korea. Wow.

I tried calling one of them -- my roommate from NJ but she wasn't at home. That kinda left me wanting not to call anyone else. *makes a face* Why couldn't she be at home? I left a totally gay message as a result. Ugh, how stupid.

I wonder if we can move in on Saturday? As soon as I get there? We'll land at 5 PM but by the time we get there it'll be like 6 or 7ish so would that be okay? They say we can move into the evening to avoid lines but would that be too late? It said that the new undergrads should move in on the 28th and I'm so disappointed! :( Why me?

edit x1: On my earlier post, I talked about getting something to crop the OST tracks and I finally found a good cracked version of FlexiMusic Wave Editor. It works perfectly and is really easy to use. I'm happy because of that.

Damn, I think I gave the wrong address to Masha... What to do... Hopefully it'll get to me in time. Hopefully.
