Last Class!
May. 2nd, 2005 12:15 pmToday was the last day of classes and I just had my very last class of my freshman year of college! OH MY GOD!!! Let's all freak out together.
I walked out of bio feeling okay. It was like the rest of the other classes I had already had the week before. But when I walked out of my Aesthetics and Politics of Vision in Premodern Japan (my Japanese art class), I felt a sense of sadness wash over me. I'm never going to see Looser again. That's really a shame because this was the only class I felt like I genuinely liked and wish I could have spent more time on. Which is really a shame since I did less than half of the required reading and I definitely need to read the stuff on perspective or else I will have no quotes for my 10 page final.
I'm starting to think I should do an East Asian Studies minor instead of an English one. I can take English electives (have room for two) but I really want to do more in East Asian Studies -- I really do! If I double minor, I would have to take two courses in addition to the already planned two courses in the summer and I probably wouldn't be able to go abroad (since I don't think they have an East Asian program in London... T_T). So, what should I do?
If I do the EAS minor, I'll be able to take two of Looser's classes plus one more to make it... :\
Oh, well, I'll think about it next year. I won't even have the ability to take an English or EAS course until Spring anyway...
I have to study! And write my essays! Today I am devoting to my Russia paper and to bio. We'll have fun studying! Right. God, I can't believe this all happening so fast... I'm starting to feel kinda sick just thinking about it.
