Mar. 13th, 2007 10:17 pmMan, I feel sucked out of energy. I had to go into work today so I had to wake up earlier than I had in the last couple of days... I ended up staying up late because I was watching D.Gray-man... I had decided to give it another shot and surprisingly, with an open mind, I actually came to like it. The whole Lala story totally had me crying in the dark and I ended up being so caught up into it that I stayed up until 4 AM. I had only mean to stay up to 3 AM at the latest because I had to get up at 11 AM to work and I wanted at least eight hours of sleep. But I ended up not getting enough sleep and have been in a stupor all day because of it...
I ended up staying for afterschool -- for some reason Cora was there with her art club so afterschool did end up occurring which is rare for a Tuesday when we usually don't have afterschool. We were even questioned by Doctor Cruz, the guy who handles discipline and it was quite scary for a while there... :\ That man is so intimidating! He tried to get us to leave but Cora was like, it's okay, we're allowed to be here as long as she's there...
That did end up putting a kink in my plans. I had wanted to hit Pathmark, buy some toothpaste, some paper towels and some cabbage (7 cents a pound!) and then go back to the dorm early and make cupcakes... Instead, I decided not to waste money unnecessarily and went back to the dorm early...
I did make cupcakes though! This time I have vanilla and chocolate frosting so they're brown and white! ^^
Oh, and before I forget to talk about it, I saw something amazing today on the bus going back to the dorm! It was my first human albino! It was a little boy and he was completely white -- his hair, his skin, it was quite cool. What made it even more striking is that he was with his father, an African American so it stood out very clearly. He had his father's features but he was so white that I almost mistook him to be a white kid with a black man. It was all very cool. I had never thought I would be able to see an albino in real life. After reading about it in biology for years and years, it was just very cool. ^^
Tomorrow I have a day off from work and I'm hitting the Central Park Zoo. Hopefully I won't have to put it off until the weekend because of rain... :\ That would really suck since I have a full day of errands and plans already for tomorrow. Unfortunately, I will have to wake up early once again but with the way I'm feeling now, I can't imagine lasting all that late tonight... *sigh* I'm even losing interest in my anime because I'm just too tired... :(
