This week's episode of Doctor Who? AWESOME!!! I can't believe how wonderful it was or how incredibly well done it was. When I first downloaded it, Mad Martha commented that it was a great episode even though it was really creepy. After watching it, it was really, really creepy. So creepy in fact that I was for once freaked out by Doctor Who! Usually it seems so silly or odd that it's just shy of believable so I'm not usually afraid but the concept of scary, killing weeping angels... Just a bit much for me. Even though most of the episode focused on Sally Sparrow and not the Doctor and Martha, I adored this episode. I'm usually such this Doctor fangirl that I thought that I wouldn't like this episode since it was mostly about Sally and not the Doctor.

But I guess this just shows how great the writers were -- I totally fell in love with Sally. I'm so happy that all the people that got trapped in the past were able to lead happy, full lives. Billy was just wonderful and such a laugh. He and Sally seemed to have such a rapport that I had hopped that they would get together. But then Lawrence showed up and I knew it had to be him. Every one ended up happy at the end. Even though it ended as creepily as the entire episode was, I adored it. I don't do suspense or horror or creepy things but I so thoroughly enjoyed this episode that I think out of all the episodes of this season, this is my favorite one. Ironically, it's the one with only minimal amounts of the Doctor and Martha. I hope they're not related... :\ I adore the Doctor too much for me to not love Doctor scenes.

And that last scene, with Sally and Lawrence in the box, I was right there with them, freaked out that the angels were going to get them and that they were going to die. So freaky, so scary but it was such a wild ride! And the last part with Sally and the Doctor! Squee!!! You don't know how much I am adoring this episode. It hit all the right marks and was perfect through and through. At the very end, everything made sense and was all tied up so nicely and I so love storylines that resolve themselves in the end. *sigh* I probably don't make much sense right now but that's okay I guess. My journal after all -- I'm allowed incomprehensible fangirlish ramblings. ^^

Next week John Barrowman returns as Captain Jack Harkness on Doctor Who! I had hoped it was this week and was a bit miffed that it wasn't and I was stuck with this creepy Blink episode instead but after watching Blink, I can safely say, even if it wasn't the episode that Jack returns on, I'm still satisfed. Still, next week!!! ^^
