TrustFlow II: Who is closest to your friends list?

So I thought I might just try this out since I saw my name on someone else's trustflow. It's interesting -- I can recognize some of the names but for the most part, all these people wh o are somewhat close to me are people who I've never heard about before.

So Diana-chan comes home today! Yay! She has yet to make an appearance so I wonder if I had gotten it wrong or something. Everyone said it was today so just assumed.

Anyway, I've fallen in love with Fall Out Boy's latest album! The first song that introduced me to it? Thnks fr th mmmrs which I had heard for the first time on last week's Doctor Who Confidential and totally fell for. I don't normally watch Doctor Who Confidential but I made an exception this week since it was touted to be "exceptional" and since I absolutely adored Blink, I thought it wouldn't hurt. ^^

Next song that I really liked a lot was Hum Hallelujah which apparently is about Peter Wrentz's attempted suicide (the really cute bassist) which makes a bit of sense. I fell in love with the bits of Hallelujah in it. I had placed the entire album on my iPod and had it going through the entire album to see if I couldn't find the other tracks that might appeal to me. This one stuck out simply because of the Hallelujahs. I mean it was obviously referencing Jeff Buckley and I had always liked that song... Anyway, it seemed like a weird fun song that instantly appealed to me. It was a bit hard for me to hear the lyrics but the song just worked which is why I liked it.

The third and last (so far) song that I liked off of Infinity on High was Golden which is probably my favorite song off of the whole album. It's even trumped Thnks fr th mmmrs' place... It begins rather dramatically and the vocals were what lured me in in the beginning. And once it got to the chorus, I knew I was gone. It was just so good!

It's a rather dark song, I think. A bit darkish. I'm not quite sure what all the lyrics mean but I definitely adore them. The chorus drops a bit and it goes deeper and it just goes up a level in terms of powerfulnew. Sometimes a nice slow, sad song is what you need.

My favorite part would have to be:

And I saw God cry in the reflections of my enemeies
And all the lovers with no time for me
And all of the mothers raise their babies to stay away from me
And pray they don't grow up to be me

I think the fact that the whole song was done in piano exclusively does help the song. I've always like songs that are more acoustic than anything else...

Anyway, that's a short little post. I'm off to bury myself in more Spike/Angel fics. God, I never knew that being away from a fandom for a few years would yield such yummy fics. ^^
