Xiao flaked on me... :(
Sep. 3rd, 2007 11:00 amWe were supposed to meet for dim sum today but she forgot she had several applications due tomorrow so she's desperately trying to get them done. And since she was able to find an alumni to meet her for lunch to look at her cover letters, she can't make it to lunch with me...
And I was really looking forward to see her too... And dim sum... I mean we were going to go try a new place called 88 Palace that I've been hearing good things about... I had wanted to invite Janet along too but she has to go home today so that derailed that idea...
Okay, so what to do now? I'm very tempted to go back to sleep because really, I'm still a bit tired since it took me forever to fall asleep. So far, I haven't been able to fall straight asleep at all at night which is a bit troubling. I was able to fall into a nap rather easily so maybe I just need to be really, really tired? *shrugs* Oh well.
Okay, I guess I'm going to first go and buy dishwashing gloves. Because of something that I might go into later on, all my dishes are still in the sink with a ton of bleach on them and I desperately need to wash them. I also need ketchup, paprika and maybe some SW seasoning. I think I'll make some breakfast and then think about how I want to spend my day... It's Labor Day but I have nothing to do... Maybe I'll hit the President's Picnic alone? I mean it is free food and I've every year since Freshman year... :\ But I'll have to take the subway since there's no bus service.
I kinda want to get my textbooks since the bookstore is open but unfortunately, as I said before, the buses aren't. So...
Ah, we'll see what happens. First I need to go buy my stuff and then eat and then I'll deal with whatever. I guess I can always watch the stuff I had downloaded...
