Sherry breakdown time...

So, I seem to have the worst luck ever. And I'm an absolute idiot. I kinda finished my paper, as in, I had the figure done (without my two tables) and I hadn't revised it yet. And I saved it on my flash drive because I was at 3rd North.

I forgot my flash drive at 3rd North. And it has the only digital copy of my paper -- that is due TODAY -- on it. T_T 15 pages, lost!

I did print out a copy of it to edit so it's not all lost but now I have to retype it and remake the figure. So I'm skipping work to do so. Ironic isn't it? I'm losing about $45 in pay and I'm going to have to buy a new flash drive so it'll be even more money lost...

Not to mention I'm going to have another long night ahead of me. After this freaking paper, it's my computer project, which thankfully I thought to upload what I had of it onto the server already.

I am worried about one thing though. Apparently my laptop has a virus. Nice, huh? Bad things abound seem to happening to me now. That's probably why it's like dead. So for now, I'm avoiding it until I can run an antivirus and spending my time here at the labs so I don't spread it to others. Just my luck, huh?

And to top this all off, I'm still exhausted, still sleep deprived and my insomnia is worst than ever. And I think I might be PMS'ing just a bit too so everything feels all that much worse. I'm starting to think someone really hates me...

The one good thing about this? I can't a mistake in my figure. Bacteria don't have linear DNA and my has it with linear so I'm going to have to find a circular pic to use... I just wish I didn't have to make it all over again... I was really pleased with the last one.

Okay, off to work. Retyping 17 pages of text -- hopefully not too long... I need sleep tonight or else I think I'm going to just drop.
