Oh dear...
Dec. 25th, 2008 12:12 pmI woke up just now because I glanced at the clock and saw "1:55" and thought to myself, "Oh my god, I slept until 2 PM?!" The last time I checked, it was only around 8ish and I thought I would go and get a couple more hours of sleep in. So I decided to wake up, thinking it was very odd how my entire family didn't try to wake me up as well because 2 PM is really late, even for us. Still it is Christmas so if we were ever going to have a massive lay-in, this would be the time to do it.
And then I checked on the computer and it was only noon. *head hits desk* The glass of jelly beans I have next to my clock obscured the first "1" in the time. How absolutely silly of me... I should have realized I would feel a lot more rested had it actually been 2 PM. Now I feel like I want to go back to sleep. Maybe another hour or so... But it's already late-ish and I don't want to mess up my sleeping schedule even more. Not to mention I'm kinda hungry. I want another Cutie! Why, oh why did no one ever introduce me to the Cuties Clementine before? It's sooo good! I eat one segment and the next thing I know, I'm staring at the last segment wondering where it all went. And then I eat that one wanting another one.They're so sweet, so juicy and so easily to peel... I thought branding a fruit, especially with a name as lame as "Cuties" was a but stupid but whatever, they have a quality product that I absolutely can't get enough of. We bought a 5 lbs box for around $5 and all I want are more boxes of them even though we're only half finished with the first one. So far, I've been getting at least 1-2 of them a day (trying to ration you see).
*yawns* I'm still tired though... It stopped snowing-ish (very light at this point) and the weather forecast has it changing to freezing rain in the late afternoon. Not something I'm looking forward to. Even if the snow has been a bit tiring at this point (two freaking weeks of it, gah), I still prefer it to freezing rain. Why can't we just melt without rain altogether? That would be nice because I seriously dislike rain in any form of it. :\
