Is that Japanese I hear?

So, here I was watching the latest episode of 90210 and I hear this neat song by Jem called It's Amazing that interested me as soon as I heard it. The first thing I really noticed about it was how much it reminded me of Dido. So much so that I actually thought the song was sung by her before I looked it up on Tune Find and found out it was sung by Jem. I had never heard of Jem or of the song before but I knew I just had to get it.

So I went and downloaded the entire album as that's generally what I do. It just seems easier to download an entire album all at once than just trying to find one random track. Anyway, I adored the song with its haunting piano lead in and it's surprisingly motivational lyrics. I say surprising because the song isn't all hyped up and peppy but more about working harding and triumphing. I like that. My favorite lyrics will have to be "And you'll see cause if its meant to be / Nothing can compare to deserving your dream" because I generally feel that too (when I'm not too depressed and desolate about the state of my life).

Anyway, I go through the rest of the tracks and eventually I reach one called Aciiid! and it's a strange little song. I didn't hate it immediately and there was just something about it that made me feel interested in what going to say. It reminded me of something that I would hear in club or on a commercial but then after the first part, I thought I heard some Japanese? I tried understanding it but my listening skills suck. The only reason why I thought I heard some Japanese was because I could have sworn I heard "konya wa zenbu" fly through the lyrics but I can't be certain. I've heard other things that I've mistaken for Japanese before and it was a bit slurred so... :\ Jem's Welsh so I just thought maybe it was that I was hearing something strange because of her accent/pronunciation... I mean it took me a bit to figure out she was saying "acid" since it wasn't what I normally would hear "acid" being pronounced as.

So I go online to find lyrics but none seem to cover the Japanese part. :( But one place actually mentions a Japanese rap part so at least I wasn't completely insane about hearing it. I was feeling a bit frustrated at not being able to find anything when I ran across a Youtube posting of the song. There someone posted some romanji of the lyrics. I hate romanji but I'll take whatever I can take, you know? Some of it made sense, some of it didn't quite and there's one line I'm still trying to find in the lyrics and for the life of me, can't but for the most part it makes a lot more sense.

Oh, yes! Japanese lyrics. ^^ Oh LyricWiki, why didn't I go to you first? I see the same romanji as the Youtube posting but some of them are wrong... That makes me a bit sad... :( But having the Japanese goes a long way in figuring out what they say. From what I can see, it's a bit like the lyrics in English like "jump to the right/ jump to the left / shake your ass" that sort of thing. I still don't hear the みんなノリノリ part of the lyrics, but I'm not too hung up on that... Ah, I love it when Google doesn't fail me. It's so rare that it happens that I was afraid this might be one of those unfortunate times.

edit x1: Grrr...why are the mp3 files being saved as mp2 ones? I don't understand it... Is it just me? Or is my host doing something wonky with my files? :( I'm going to go an Google this because it's pissing me off.

edit x2: Okay, fixed it on my end. I guess it was another wonky Vista thing. Oh, Vista, I thought we were doing so well lately... We've been playing nicely and everything... And now you pull this sort of crap on me... *sigh* Oh well... I'm going to go and play my Rune Factory 2 game now. I'm getting married today! And finally moving on to the 2nd generation! I've been stalling since I wanted to reach 10 FP with all the people in the village but I'm fed up with talking to everyone every single day. I'm gonna do this now before I get totally pissed off at the game it makes me want to quit forever. ^^
