With better news, I wrote my first slashy scene! No sex yet, probably not for a while actually since my Harry doesn't seem to like Draco right now and is actively fighting his urges to jump him...somehow he's actually winning instead of losing all self-control and having some delicious fun with Draco. *sigh*

I wrote "cock" for the first time and giggled to myself like a crazy person. Oh, I'm such a sex scene virgin... All my previous stories never got past kisses and pre-slash... This one hopefully will by the end of 50,000 words. If not, I think I would have disappointed myself...

Last night's episode of NUMB3RS made me regret the fact that I said it made sense that it was ending with 16 episodes.

It was all about hacking, l33t speak and even IRC!

It hit all my geek buttons.

Ah, I could totally do with a show about Augie. ^^

In terms of writing, well, banged off another six hundred words last night before bed, ended up finishing my scenes as I wanted them since I forgot some parts that I had wanted to get in. Now, I had planned on my first somewhat sex scene as a test/experiment to hopefully get off another couple hundred words and then move onto my Weasley family scene that I'm not looking forward to. More Ginny, more Ron, and other red heads to screw with me. But I'm just not in the mood today... and I need another thousand words today... :\

And last night, I had a horrible dream about posting this fic online and getting absolutely slammed for it. It was horrible, an absolute nightmare, and I made such stupid n00b mistakes that I couldn't believe I had been that careless. *sigh* I think my subconscious is telling me not to post it and it's probably a good idea.

edit x1: Bluffing gay sex is very...interesting. I'm not really sure how else I can describe it. >

Write or Die

Next hour and a half, I'm going to Write or Die!

Goal: 2472 words to put me at 15,000 by the end.

Fingers crossed!

And as always, FictionJunction Yuuka to see me through it. I've got my soy chocolately coffee to warm me up and to give comfort and my Bear-chan to give me hugs. ^^

I can't believe I'm actually doing this. My consequences are in the Kamikaze Mode (since I'm too much of a coward for Electric Shock Mode and not that much of a wimp for the Normal or Gentle Modes) and my Grace Period is Evil because I don't want a grace period! Gonna push this out if it kills me. Push my way past the Weasleys to meet the plot!

edit x1: I ended it with about 11 minutes to go. I reached my goal early so I thought I would stop when I got to a good place. In the end, I wrote 2775 words in about an hour and 20 minutes. Not bad.

Write or Die is a bit sadistic... If you pause for any significant amount of time, it starts to erase words. First, the page just starts turning red before it becomes really, really red and deleting your work. I couldn't even take time to drink my coffee and it got cold. T_T

But it's definitely a motivator to just keep on writing... If only to save your work. There's not a lot of thinking allowed and I'm not sure I like that, but it does force you to churn out words so I guess it works. I don't know if I want to try it again though... :\
