Doctor Who Dreamland
Dec. 8th, 2009 08:33 amYou know, it wasn't half bad!
I was surprised actually, since it was animated and I guess my opinion on animations isn't all that high. The artwork was a bit awkward, and it was clear that whomever played Cassie was faking an American accent since she lapses at times. Which made it a bit jarring -- if you were listening for it that is and I certainly was because I was curious if they had hired actual Americans or if the Brits had gotten so good at faking the American accent that they just didn't even bother.
But yeah, it was a pretty good episode. Sure, some of it required a bit more suspension of disbelief than I usually like but that's generally how it is with Doctor Who. You just have to sorta accept things and the story will seem much less implausible. And it's always great to hear David Tennant's voice (my crush for him grows infinitely with each encounter).
This makes me wonder if the Infinite Quest is something to be looking into. And that one has Martha, who is possibly one of my favorite companions. Well, she was my favorite until Donna because for some odd reason, I really enjoyed Donna... But for different reasons. Martha was just awesome to me more because she was like an anti-Rose since I never quite liked Rose... Which doesn't make much sense because Donna and Rose aren't dissimilar... *shrugs* Ah, whatever. I just like Donna best, that's it.
Oh my god...it's seven degrees outside. Seven degrees. o.O
You don't know how glad I am right now to be indoors and to have sent Masha's package out last week. I wouldn't go out in that temperature if someone paid me...
