Dec. 9th, 2009 08:00 amI think the cold weather is causing some power problems... It keeps blinking in and out on us -- gone for a second but back just as quickly and then a couple minutes later it happens again... It's rather annoying and I can't help but wonder what sort of damage it might be doing to my laptop...
Could it be ice? I can't think of another reason for it... The temperature outside is hovering in the teens as it's been for the last couple of days (with drops down to single digits at night) so ice would be reasonable if we had any moisture. Which we don't which doesn't make much sense to me...
Either way, I think I'm better off turning my computer off for now... Hopefully the power interruptions will end in a couple of hours...
Right now, I'm just glad my clock has a back-up battery. I would really hate to have to reset my clock after each of these flickers only to have it dashed away with the next one.
