I'm still crying now, the tears just won't stop. And now I'm all snotty and red eyed... But what a sad story! That poor dog... T_T
I really didn't think it would affect me this way. I knew the story beforehand, at least the true story of Hachiko and I thought that this American remake of the Japanese story just wouldn't be as good but damn does it tug on your heartstrings. It's just so heartbreaking and sad, no matter where it takes place. When I first saw the TV commercial for it, I was like "Wha...?" since I recognized it was about Hachiko immediately. But with Richard Gere? That did not compute.
But I'm glad I decided to take a chance and watch it. It'll make you cry but at the same time, it feels amazing...Hachiko was amazing. I would only be so lucky to ever have such a loyal companion in my life.
Okay, now on to The Blind Side. Hopefully, that will be just as emotional but less sad.
