Nodame Cantabile Finale is over and it feels like Nodame has truly ended. *sigh*

I was hoping the anime would expand on the manga but it didn't, not really. Although, I think I feel a bit better after watching the anime than I did when I finished reading the manga...

Jezebel's Dessert Bracket? Awesome! I'm still trying to figure out what wins between the ultimate cake (ice cream) and the best pie ever (pumpkin). Hmm...ice cream is so yummy and cold and can come in so many delicious flavors... And is good for all occasions! No one can refuse an ice cream cake! But pumpkin pie is so yummy... You can eat it with whipped cream or without, it's good both cold and hot, not to mention the fact that it reminds you of home and of Thanksgiving. And the spices -- they're all so warm and comforting...

Agh, it's so hard to choose! They're two totally different desserts! Can't they both win? :(

Okay, I've made my choice...

Ice Cream Cake wins! (Oh, this was totally stolen from hydr0phobia)

When I really thought about it, I just couldn't get over the wonder and excitement that an ice cream cake brings. We never really had many ice cream cakes growing up (probably too expensive since we were really, really poor) and that never really changed even after our circumstances improved. I guess that has made me want to latch onto each and every slice of ice cream cake I could get, just to make up for the past.

And the fact that it's a cold dessert also swung it into my favor. If I had to choose from anything that was either hot or cold be it dessert or drink, I would most likely go for the cold option.

Great...this has made me hungry for sweets now.
