Oi...FlashForward is a dead show walking...Damn shame but I seriously hope there is an end to this show. I would be disappointed that I invested so much in a lagging show that was always on the verge of cancellation just to have it end in a stupid cliffhanger that would never be resolved.

SGU comes back tonight and I'm surprisingly interested. I didn't think I would be but after the last episode before the hiatus, it hooked me, which probably was what it meant to do. I'm not sure I like it but I'm still watching. And now that I think about it, that's a bit how I feel about Caprica... *sigh* I used to love Sci-Fi... Now Sy-Fy seems to be the channel with shows that I watch but don't quite like. Now, if only Eureka would come back -- that's one show that I actually do kinda really like.

Right now I'm watching Boston Legal. Why, I'm not really sure why. I think it has something to do with Mark Valley since I've started watching Human Target recently. Human Target seems so much more of a guy show -- lots of action, not quite as much on other stuff. Me, I think I watch it for more Guerrero because he's one interesting SOB. I really do enjoy his craziness, even if Winston doesn't seem to appreciate it.

Anyway, back to Boston Legal. Back when this show was on, was there slash? Between who? I like Alan Shore and Mark Valley. And of course there's the clear rapport between Alan and Denny...especially since I know they get married at the very end... But, they're just so weird... I like quirky personalities but they're a bit too much for me. Maybe I shouldn't think about slashing anyone in this series. It's certainly stranger than The Practice which I really liked although not quite as silly (I think, but there are moments that make me wonder) as Ally McBeal which I also liked.

Just finished the first season of Boston Legal.

Wow.

They really ended it with a bang. I was almost in tears and all I wanted to do was wrench my eyes away but at the same time, I was compelled to continued on watching. Alan's impassioned speech before the High Court was so remarkable, so true that it made you just hate those judges when they decided against Zeke. My god, I know this is all make-believe but seriously, are people in Texas that crazy? Not to mentioned stupid? All I could think when Alan was hitting his stride, was "Go Alan go!" and "Thank god for liberal media!" Biased as it was, thank god it put a highlight on Texas and the Death Penalty. It made me just sick watching it and that ending where Zeke is fighting and everyone is too ashamed to watch so they turn their heads away and they just fade to black with the credits, all the while we were left wondering whether or not the hula girl Angela was able to find the Texas governor to stay the execution... It was beautifully well crafted. While I hate the fact that we weren't shown whether or not Zeke truly died, I'm also glad we don't know. It would have surely ruined it otherwise. Plus, I'd like to think there is still some hope left by just cutting away.

Cut for depressing anti-Texas and anti-death penalty talk )

And oh, on a much lighter, unrelated note, GO MOUNTAINEERS! If WV wins today, my NCAA bracket will beat Kent's and that's all that really matters in the end. ^^
