I've got an urge to translate one of Sakuraga Mei's mangas... She's one of the few mangakas out there that I can actually say I truly enjoy (Nitta will always be one of them and Hidaka Shouko is another favorite of mine) and have yet to read a bad story from. There's this one manga from her that has never been scanlated or translated and all I want is to read it. I'm downloading the raws now so I have no idea if it's even readable but it would be nice if I could kinda work my way through it...

Oh, they're very good raws! I can do this! ^^ It could be my little pet project in between working on Hanagata since there's only so much baseball (and the feeling of not knowing the right baseball terminology) I can take... :\

Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how to order Sakuraga's mangas... They're series within series and side stories, sequels, prequels, gah, so confusing... And aside from that, I'm [FINALLY] watching the Chinese Taipei v. Japan match from today. I already know who won both games today but I had yet to watch them since it was like early in the morning, I didn't want to wake up and it wasn't online... :(

And even though it's late, I really want to watch the Texas and Hawaii game. Geez, what happened to Texas? I caught the last part of the fifth inning and it was a slaughter! Seriously, I thought Texas was better than that and that they would put up more of a fight. Not that I'm not cool with the result, go Hawaii since I've been rooting for them since the beginning after all, but I was hoping for something more in this US Championship Final... I guess I'll see what happened later on...

edit x1: Oh... Even though I knew Chinese Taipei lost, it still feels very sad... I mean, I root for Japan but I also rooted for Chinese Taipei... It was weird but during the game, I kinda felt like Chinese Taipei deserved to win it more and I felt myself being moved from my JAPAN!! JAPAN!! JAPAN!! feelings over towards Chinese Taipei...

It's now 6 AM but I still wanna watch the other game! It was called in the fifth so it should be short...well, shorter, right?

LOL!! I love how Bobby Valentine interviewed the Japanese player (I want to say it's Ryo Motegi who scored the winning run but I can't be sure) and he asked him about tomorrow's match. The answer? 絶対勝ちたいです! Well, I feel the same way! Except, I kinda am rooting hard for the Hawaiian team. And I'm American so it's hard not to root for your own country...especially hard if it's a "West" team.

Gah, I can't wait to see the Championship game!!!

Damn... Chinese Taipei is killing Texas.

Gotta admit, I'm kinda loving it. I just can't root for any Texas team, even one full of kids... I know it's horrible how I have this State bias but god, it's making me really giddy with the way those Taiwanese kids are hitting those Texas pitches. Hehe, seriously, hilarious.

Can they come back from 6-0? Can Chinese Taipei really lose it? Well, Texas hasn't even had a chance at bat yet so I guess it's still too early to tell. But damn, building up six runs is hell of a lot to come back to...

Haven't slept and though my eyes are blurring, I figured I might as well watch the consolation match since I finished the Hawaii v. Texas game a few minutes ago...

Wow, I kinda wish this Chinese Taipei team had shown up yesterday against Japan... It might have been a much more interesting (not to mention different) game had they been at their best like they are today...

Seriously Texas, I may not like your state or anything relating to it, but you're making me feel sorry for you. Come on, how long does it take to get three outs?

edit x1: I can't stop laughing. Oh my god, this is absolutely hilarious. Just how many runs is Chinese Taipei going to score before the end of the fourth? I was watching them play Canada so I know it can get high but I thought Texas was better than that.

This does make me worry about Hawaii though. If this is the level of Chinese Taipei and Japan won against them, then does Hawaii even have a chance? Hawaii fought hard against Texas (until that last game where Texas self-destructed and couldn't get themselves off the ground) but Japan was toe to toe with Chinese Taipei...

edit x2: Well, Texas scored by the end? I felt like the instant replays were all totally against Chinese Taipei...that first and last one seemed iffy to me but I guess giving it to Texas when they're trailing by that much isn't totally horrible... But Chinese Taipei still end up winning 14-2, called after the fourth.

And now it's about ten, I'm going to go and sleep until noon (the time for Championship game) and hopefully the online streaming place I have staked out will end up coming through with it...
