Aug. 29th, 2010 04:41 amI've got an urge to translate one of Sakuraga Mei's mangas... She's one of the few mangakas out there that I can actually say I truly enjoy (Nitta will always be one of them and Hidaka Shouko is another favorite of mine) and have yet to read a bad story from. There's this one manga from her that has never been scanlated or translated and all I want is to read it. I'm downloading the raws now so I have no idea if it's even readable but it would be nice if I could kinda work my way through it...
Oh, they're very good raws! I can do this! ^^ It could be my little pet project in between working on Hanagata since there's only so much baseball (and the feeling of not knowing the right baseball terminology) I can take... :\
Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how to order Sakuraga's mangas... They're series within series and side stories, sequels, prequels, gah, so confusing... And aside from that, I'm [FINALLY] watching the Chinese Taipei v. Japan match from today. I already know who won both games today but I had yet to watch them since it was like early in the morning, I didn't want to wake up and it wasn't online... :(
And even though it's late, I really want to watch the Texas and Hawaii game. Geez, what happened to Texas? I caught the last part of the fifth inning and it was a slaughter! Seriously, I thought Texas was better than that and that they would put up more of a fight. Not that I'm not cool with the result, go Hawaii since I've been rooting for them since the beginning after all, but I was hoping for something more in this US Championship Final... I guess I'll see what happened later on...
edit x1: Oh... Even though I knew Chinese Taipei lost, it still feels very sad... I mean, I root for Japan but I also rooted for Chinese Taipei... It was weird but during the game, I kinda felt like Chinese Taipei deserved to win it more and I felt myself being moved from my JAPAN!! JAPAN!! JAPAN!! feelings over towards Chinese Taipei...
It's now 6 AM but I still wanna watch the other game! It was called in the fifth so it should be short...well, shorter, right?
LOL!! I love how Bobby Valentine interviewed the Japanese player (I want to say it's Ryo Motegi who scored the winning run but I can't be sure) and he asked him about tomorrow's match. The answer? 絶対勝ちたいです! Well, I feel the same way! Except, I kinda am rooting hard for the Hawaiian team. And I'm American so it's hard not to root for your own country...especially hard if it's a "West" team.
Gah, I can't wait to see the Championship game!!!
