Oct. 29th, 2010 06:03 pmI'm not really sure why I'm eating ice cream when it's so cold out but damn is it delicious. But I had an urge for sweets and since the last cookie was polished off yesterday, the only sweets outside of candy is ice cream. All we had was Neapolitan and Pecan Praline so I opted for the Neapolitan.
Surprisingly, it was the chocolate mixed with the strawberry that tasted the best. I say surprisingly not because this is the first time I ever had Neapolitan, but because as a kid, we bought a lot of it (I think being poor had something to do with it and the fact that you get three different flavors in one box). But we would never eat the strawberry -- it would just sit there in the middle while we scooped out all of the chocolate and vanilla around it... Nowadays, I'm older and can appreciate flavors I avoided as a child and while I can't say I like the flavor of artificial strawberry, I don't hate it either.
But yeah, ice cream! What a difference a month makes! In the summer, I felt like I had too much ice cream and didn't want to even think about having any of it and now, I'm relishing it. Yummy!
I probably should be finishing Hanagata tonight. And getting to the end of Eroica. But I just found the Sims 3 DS game and I'm intrigued. It sounds fun and since I can't play the PC game, this will have to suffice. Maybe I'll get to the translating tonight, maybe not but since Nanowrimo starts on Monday, I feel like I should get most of it done by tomorrow. Before midnight. Gah, what am I getting myself into?! *shudders* I have no idea what I'm going to do for my story aside from continuing on but I'm not sure what I want to do to continue on...
*freaks out* This is getting kinda scary...
