Watching the 43rd TVB anniversary show is so much fun yet so full of so much cringe-worthy moments...
Like Cantonese rap while dressed in period clothing.
Or a parody of Lady GaGa's Bad Romance (seriously WHY?!).
But somehow, I manage to keep on watching every year...
I wonder what my parents would make of it? They probably would recognize the song considering it plays in our bar.
Okay, what is with the Lady GaGa theme? o.O
Finally turned on the heat today... I've been avoiding it since I'm really the only one in the house any length of time and I don't mind cold weather. But since the temperatures were dropping and are due to drop rather massively in the next day, my mother was concerned we were freezing my grandmother to death. :\
So I've set the thermostat at 60 F for most of the day and 65 when the entire family is at home and when we're still active before bed.
GOD, 65 F is really, really hot. 60 F is pretty bad too, especially if you're in your bedroom with the doors closed. We're hardly ever on the first floor so all those vents are closed up, directing all the heat up towards the second floor where the bedrooms and the entertainment/second family room is. Maybe that's why it's feeling so damn hot?
Or maybe in comparison, it's just a huge change considering the temperature in the house right before I turned on the heat for the year was at 49 F. Yeah, I was shocked too. I knew it was cold but I didn't realize it was that cold... Perhaps I should have turned on the heat sooner?
