But seriously, is there no State competition? Or is that the equivalent of State? Or is it larger than State and it features several states in a region? Because it seems like one team for every state seem excessive... Especially since all the other competitions we've seen only feature a handful of different teams...
I always assumed Regionals was like your conference, a region of Ohio that is separated out for competition purposes and Sectionals was something even smaller, maybe something within your own county? I don't know. I"ve tried Googling for the format of these sort of things but apparently there isn't any set competition that is known as the "National Show Choir Competition" so I didn't have much luck. :\
Still, it is already February and there are only so many months left in the school year. Maybe the National competition takes place in the summer? *shrugs* I have no idea... But it really seems like they're going really, really fast and at this rate, everyone will probably graduate after the next season which would not be cool...
