Oh wow, I just had an amazing snack... I made tacos with my pulled pork (delicious, as always!) and today I was picking up some meds at Wal-Mart and happened to walk past a small display of Mexican foodstuffs. On it were like beans, tortillas, Rotel, that sort of thing and there were also little cans of Salsa Verde. So I went and bought one on a whim after the first couple of tacos were a bit dry... I went home and tasted it and it was a little salty but considering the tacos were a little plain, it evened out.

I cut some cabbage, a radish, some onions, jalapenos, cilantro and placed some avocado slices on top of some lightly heated white corn tortillas. I topped it off with some lime juice and some Daisy sour cream (the best sour cream ever in my opinion) and lastly, with a drizzle of the salsa verde and it was the best taco I've made yet. Delicious!! And I washed it down with a lime Jarritos. Perfection

But what was also really good, and probably a bit better because it's less messy is the taco salad I made with the same ingredients. I mean, you could mix it all together so the flavors meld perfectly and the avocado gets all mushed up and it's like it's been bathed in guacamole. Yummy! I will definitely make it again.

Next time, I'm going to make actual guacamole and top the tacos with it rather than avocado slices (it's the only way I could tolerate having tomatoes in my taco aside from salsa) and then I'll totally take pictures because that is my ultimate taco. Plus, I was a little too hungry to bother snapping photos this time around... :\
