Mar. 7th, 2012 01:37 amWow, I have never hated a Jane By Design episode as much as I hate tonight's spring finale episode.
I hate Jane. I really hate Jane.
After the last episode, I was pretty convinced India wasn't the mole and wasn't as bad as we thought she was. So it was heartbreaking to see her get fired. And Jane was so smug about it.
I also hate that she didn't take any responsibility for the disintegration of her and Nick's relationship. Sure, he's the one who kissed another girl but she hasn't been putting their relationship as a priority either, more like an afterthought. He deserved better. And so did LuLu which is why I didn't hate the fact that they kinda hooked up (in a chaste way though). I really liked douche-y, preppie Billy. He going back to punk Billy was not my favorite but if that's what he is okay. But yeah, he's totally in the wrong to be choosing Jane over his girlfriend, who was trying so hard. She's given a lot more effort to their relationship than he has once she was fully committed. He, however, has just been patronizing from the very beginning.
I also hate that even though Ben was completely in the right, that he still capitulated to Jane. And she gets off scot-free from all the lying and running around behind his back. I mean, she's a minor, flying to foreign countries by herself? How is that right in anyway? Why is she being rewarded for her deceit?
That whole thing with Billy, ugh. I've never gotten romantic vibes between the two of them. And her with Jeremy, ugh. He's just so old...way too old for her. Her and Nick had potential but like I said, I thought Nick deserved better. Seriously, what is up with her that has all these guys fawning over her? I seriously don't get it.
Where is the fall? Her life is way too good right now and I want to see her learn from her mistakes and realize actions have consequences. I kept waiting for it in this episode since it was going way too easily but nope. Nothing. :\
