I ♥ Origa

Am I the only one who feels as if this woman has one of the most beautiful voices ever? I listen to her songs and I'm just awed by how beautiful and good it sounds.

And since I'm into Origa at the moment, here are some of her songs:

Origa - Ai no Kakera
Origa - Inner Universe

I totally recommend the Japanese version of Mizu no Madoromi and the Ai no Kakera song. So beautiful, so enchanting... Both Ai no Kakera and Inner Universe are in Russian and they're so good. I love songs in Russian but Ai no Kakera was especially wonderful. The Japanese version of Mizu no Madoromi is incredible. Her voice in Japanese is such a balm on the senses. I love her voice, I love the instruments used, I love this song.

Now, on things not Origa related. I got rejected from ASB 2006. :( That means I won't have any where to go for Spring Break... I could go home... :\ Or I can take a trip up to Canada, visit Toronto, Niagra Falls and some relatives that I've only met once in my life (back when I was like six years old). It seems wrong that I have an uncle, an aunt and four cousins that I DON'T KNOW AT ALL. I've never ever spoke to them. I'm pretty sure I met my uncle and one of my cousins once but that was a long time ago and I never actually talked to them... The girl cousin fell asleep in my bed and I just avoided the uncle. :\

They are my only distant relatives since they never visit and they're all the way in Eastern Canada. The rest of my family is either in Oregon, or in China and the ones in China come to visit often and we go and visit them. At least more than the ones in Canada. So it'll be nice to visit them and take in the sites. ^^

I found out some rather sad news... The two bus lines in Queens really went on strike at 12:01 AM today. :( That does not make me feel very assured that nothing will happen on Tuesday 12:01 AM -- the threatened time for the transit worker's strike... I have TWO exams on that date -- one after another. Thank god they're not at 8 AM though, but the first is at 10 AM. How early should I get up and go to them to get to it on time? I have no idea! :(

I thought they wouldn't go on strike but now 700 people are on strike... I just hope this forces the MTA to make a deal with the union... Otherwise, we're all screwed. Yay.

*hugs* Yay thank you! ='( you're the second person I know to be super effected by the MTA strikes >.< I hope they work it out. Here in CA it's like, just drive yourself, but I really wish there was a bus system. It's so expensive to have a car, but you can't go ANYWHERE without one ='( ... I hope MTA understands how important and wonderful bus lines are.

Well, everyone who works or lives in NYC will be affected by the MTA strike if it happens. I don't don't even use the subway or the city buses (NYU provides transportation from my dorm since it's a huge dorm) but if it happens, there will be so many more cars around that traffic is going to suck. That's where I think most of the delays will be.

In Portland there is a wondeful public transportation system but everyone has cars anyway. *shrugs* I miss the West Coast and the ability to drive yourself everywhere... Here, you actually have to brave the elements and WALK. Talk about blasphemy!

XD Portland is such a nice city. I want to go back someday. Hehehe, sounds like LA... all the latinos (and the occasional college students) use the bus and everyone else drives. =O

Aren't they, aren't they? ^^ I'm SO glad you liked them! She really is such a wonderful singer that it's no wonder to me that even singing in Russian, she can become popular in Japan. With a voice like that, who wouldn't?

I've been trying to get more of her songs since last night but I've been thus far unsuccessful. :(

I really love the Japanese version of Mizu no madoromi

and can I just do a massive SQUEE!! over Kimeru. I am totally in love with him although I have only ever heard two of his songs. Basically my pal loves Prince of Tennis and I've been getting into it too. She has some of the musicals and I have fallen head over heels for Kimeru playing Fuji. He is ace as Ryoma too, but as Fuji (my fav POT character) OMG!!!!

I know, isn't that that best song?! I was really loving Ai no Kakera but then I heard Mizu no Madoromi and I just went *_* at it. It's just so beautiful...

And yay! Another Kimeru fan! If you stick around long enough, you will find out that I am seriously crazy about him. And only TWO of his songs?! So wrong. Right now on my website (Feel My Soul (http://homepages.nyu.edu/~smc449/index.html)), I've put up the four new songs from his newest album glorious. And if you want more, I will so totally upload all of what I have of him. Like all his mp3s, his two DVDs... Anything to get people hooked on Kimeru. ^^

I really hope the strike resolves itself quickly; I live on Roosevelt Island and I have an exam on Wednesday and then a flight home early Thursday!

I hope the strike resolves itself quickly too. At least on Wednesday, people will have a little bit better sense of how to deal with it but on Tuesday, if it happens, it'll be chaos and I really don't know how to plan for chaos.

But at least I can walk from Water Street though... I really hope things turn out for you, being on Roosevelt Island and all.
