Day in Review

Well, today's expedition and whole day's goal was a total waste.
Basically, we waited at the new house and the guy didn't show up. Now they've messed with my dad's plans to go visit my paternal grandparents. They're quite old (in their 90s -- my father is the youngest son out of five) and wishes to see me and my sister before we leave for college again and we had planned on going on Wednesday.
Well, after my mother chewed out Charter for not showing up and for messing with us like this, they've promised to show up tomorrow but that means we'll have to be there tomorrow and everything... :\
So that has been postponed to Thursday and hopefully everything will be straighten out with the whole internet thing.
Anyway, me and Diana finished 1 Litre of Tears. Episode 10 wasn't as bad as I feared but I felt a bit spoiled with the little spoiler at the end of episode 9 so possibly that was part of the reason why. Anyway, it ended as I expected but while the story of Aya was really great, I can't help but think Haruto was especially great. You really fall in love with that character, don't you? I want a Haruto too! Although, his appearance in this show did feel a little like this was the Japanese version of A Walk to Remember.
Still, Haruto! I definitely would fangirl him to death. ^^
It was a good ending and I'm satisfied. And after watching this, I have the urge to go out and buy the actual diaries, even though they're published in Japanese. I think, if I ever get good enough in Japanese to read books, that would be a very inspirational book to have. Even if I don't understand it fully, I think it would just be a good book to own -- kinda like The Little Prince. I have that in its original French but I can't read it very well but still, it's a good story to have on your shelf. We'll see if I can actually find it to buy it...
And now I'm going to sleep... As it is, it'll be little sleep for tonight as well and after today... Gah, need sleep. Oyasumi.
