Super Bowl Commercials

Well that sucked.

But forgetting the game and everything that happened, everything else was okay. The commercials... Way too many Budweiser commercials. Way too many.

But there were a few memorables. My number one favorite? The Dove Self-Esteem Fund Commercial. I love this song! I love this commercial. Hell, I love Dove (my favorite and only soap!).

Tell me that isn't sweet and beautiful. And that the song isn't wonderful. It's sung by the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, NY, in case you're wondering. And the girls aren't actors but real Canadian girls. Why Canadian, I don't know why. Maybe Dove is a Canadian company? I don't know. But it's the sweetest commerical of the Super Bowl. I was surprised to see something so serious but it's so sweet. As a girl, it really hit me because really, any girl can identify with these girls. We've all been there. And the song just makes it so wonderful. The main girl singing it, god, what a beautiful voice. I'm playing it over and over again now.
