Koda-san wa sugoi!

sherryillkI am really starting to love the misunderstood Koda-san. He feels so strongly and he carries so much guilt about everything... He always wants to make things right, no matter how he steamrolls the people around him, no matter how he comes out to be to other people... He doesn't really care about that, and it's so wonderfully refreshing to see such a character. It's like poor guy, can things get any worse for him?
He's such a tragically misunderstood figure but it's really because he's so tight and self-aware that's like this... He himself is the one that knows his faults best and he takes it heart so badly every time he messes up... But, I don't hate people like that. He is hard to take, and I bet I would hate him in real life because of the way he treats other people, but understanding what kinda of person he is, I am starting to really care for him. I can see why Togashi has never given up on him. :)
Man, I want to see a Koda-san smile by the end of this show... One more episode to go, tomorrow it'll have to be because it's 1 AM and I have an 8 AM class and I can't take another four hours of sleep again.
