Boys with accents

God, I love British boys and god, I love British boys with British accents. And god, the Welsh accent (I recognized it, I feel so proud!) is so wonderful! I've been watching Doctor Who and god British TV shows have one thing that I never noticed before -- British people! British people all with British accents! As a self-proclaimed lover of the British accent (all forms of it, because they're all so wonderful) and Anglophile, I'm in like seventh heaven right now.

And I have to say I have to love the Tenth Doctor (the new one is Tenth, right?). He's lost the Northern accent of the Ninth Doctor but he's so much cuter! Not to mention with a certain sort of charm. He's the Doctor but he's not the same Doctor, even I can see that with The Christmas Invasion.

Bloody hell, he really is really cute! I want a new season with this new Doctor because this new Doctor is just so yummy! I just don't want to see any Doctor/Rose action because she's just not good enough for my Doctor.

And god, they're saying there's a new series in the Spring. It's the Spring now, isn't it? Downloads, are there downloads anywhere? And god, really Tennant is just so yummy... Has this season started? If not, when? God, I want, I want! And I should go to sleep... It's late and I've got class unfortunately... :(

edit x1: Hell, Spring is April 15th? :( I can't believe it, I'll be download this series through the summer... *makes a face* But I will be so there after the 15th to download the first episode of the new season. I've fallen in love with the Tenth Doctor and now I just want more.

edit x2: He's not supposed to be a god but his race is "Time Lord" and he's just soo cool and he meddles with human people. I want him to be a god; I bet he'll be pretty cool as one. :)

I love Doctor Who. It's the only thing I've ever really been a fan-boy for; I spent my childhood and early adolescence watching it religiously, reading all the novellizations. I even belonged to a fan club!

I do think it was stupid to replace the 9th Doctor so quickly; he's only got 12 regenerations and they just effectively wasted one by making it so short (kind of like the 6th Doctor...although nobody liked him).

They just started running the new Doctor Who series on Sci-Fi.

But the new Doctor Who series is the one that aired in Britian last year. And now that I've downloaded and watched all the episodes, I'm left wanting more. I want the new season with David Tennant now!

But yeah, it was stupid to get rid of the 9th Doctor so quicky. Despite my developing crush on Tennant, I would have liked to have seen more from Eccleston. He wasn't all that bad and when he and the last Dalek faced off, I thought he was rather brillant...
