So... I have a pick of different sorts of courses I can take next semester... I'm not quite sure what I want to do but I do know I need to take Physics and Japanese, the former for my major and the latter for my MAP requirements. So those are already blocked off.
I also might need to take a Societies course but apparently on my transcript my AP US History credits satisfied the course US History to 1865, which is apparently one of the courses that will fulfill the Societies and Social Science requirement. So I want talk to my adviser about using that because then I won't have to take Intro to Sociology as I was planning on taking. That would be really wonderful because that would make my Tuesdays and Thursdays start at 11 AM rather than 9:30 and I can end Monday at 3:15 PM instead of 3:30 PM.
Also that will leave room for another Bio course! I want to take Biochem and I think I will either way and not take Genetics next semester. But if I can, I want to do both Genetics and Biochem... The only thing I don't like about Biochem is the fact that since it is a graduate level course, it's at night... My recitation for that course will go to 9:00 PM on Thursdays if I take it... T_T That's sooo late! And I know that once I'm taking Physics where my exams are on Fridays, I will be totally strapped for time...
But thankfully I will retain my half day, only it's going to be moved from Thursday to Wednesday because I have a weird Physics RCT/LAB block that's rather irregular... It's from 1:00 PM to 2:50 PM, but normally, classes start at 12:30 to 1:45 with the next course at 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM. Because of that, I can't take any course on those days on either of those time blocks, which make scheduling a bit difficult...
And I'll basically go from my Biochem lecture to my Biochem RCT on Thursdays...It's going to be a long day... 9:30 AM-12:15 PM, then 1:00-2:50 then 4:50-9:00... But on Mondays, I won't have a break at all... It'll be 9:30 AM to 4:45 PM without even a break for lunch... :(
Oh, well, at least I'll be taking fun classes... I wonder if I should maybe take Biochem my senior year? So it won't interfere with Physics? But I want to take it next year while Orgo and MolecCell still fresh on my mind... Ah, decisions, decisions...
