The Myth and some yaoi downloads...

For those who haven't seen Jackie Chan's The Myth, watch it! It's sooo good! And the music is absolutely incredible! It's not like the watered down stuff you get from Hollywood... Plus, Jackie Chan is in a period movie! How often do you see something like that?!

Basically, the story is that Jackie Chan plays Jack, an archaeologist who is getting these recurring dreams of himself as a Qin dynasty general called Ming Yi who has fallen in love with the Emperor's concubine, Ook Soo (who is played by Kim Hee See). Anyway it's a big drama where Jack tries to figure out what's going on, lots of action, romance and good old Jackie Chan humor. It's basically a bunch of flashbacks and flashforwards but in the end it was a wild ride. It's also done in several languages -- from Cantonese to Mandarin, from Korean to Indian, and some English mixed in there as well.

Anyway, I've uploaded my favorite song from the movie, from the part where Jack and Ook Soo have finally met up again and are floating in the air (because of some anti-gravity meteorites) and it's actually a duet between Jackie Chan and Kim Hee See. Very beautiful. :)

Also, there's the other version of the song, as sung by Sun Nan and Han Hong. Both versions are in Mandarin, except for the Kim Hee See's part in which she sings in Korean. Personally, I find both wonderful but I suppose people would find Sun Nan's voice better than Jackie Chan's so I can't fault them for liking the other version.

The movie, the songs, everything about his movie was spectacular. I can see why it would be a hit. ^^ To those who haven't seen it, I totally recommend this as a good all-around movie. :)

As fro the yaoi downloads...Well, I uploaded these for my cousin Nadine but it would be shame to totally let them stay anonymous. I doubt any would actually care but on the off chance, enjoy?

IRC's not so bad once you get the hang of it... It's a bit intimidating at first but really, IRC guides and walkthroughs are your friends. All you really need to do is set up an fserve (which you really don't need to do but it gives you priority in downloading so it's good) and learn the basic commands for accessing an fserve and getting files. I totally recommending just sitting down one night and working through it because it really doesn't take that long to learn.

Oh Sex Pistols isn't that bad! It could be worse like Chintsubu (talking chinkos!) or Viewfinder. In fact, I think even HwD has more sex than Sex Pistols...Not that Sex Pistols doesn't have sex -- it does, but HwD has sex in practically every chapter.
