NMR Hell T_T

I really, really, really HATE NMR.

T_T

After trying so many different structures, it just won't come together. I feel like I'm missing hydrogens... :( I hate this, I hate it, I hate it, I hate!!! Why do I have to do this?! I only have one singlet 1 H but I need more! How does an Aldol not have a beta-hydroxylcarbonyl or a beta-unsaturated compound -- it absolutely HAS TO but it's not showing up in my NMR! Fuck, they're trying to kill me, aren't they. They just want me to break down and cry and fail lab. T_T

I wish they could at least give some IR peaks or the atomic formula to help us out... I don't even know what my degrees of unsaturation are! Or if I have enough carbons...if I should double, if there are halogens, an amine group... T_T I know nothing!

I hate hate hate! *stabs NMR to death*

But I have to finish this tonight or else... :( I got nothing else done today... :( No study...no laundry... :( Thank god tomorrow is a half day to do stuff in... But still, god, I hate this!!! NMR is evil. I'm half tempted to do something just so I have something to work with to write the report but the Aldol is like 30 of the 40 points of this lab and I can't afford to fuck up the structure.

Fuck, I hate Orgo lab. Just when you think it's over, it comes right back up to bite you to remind you that it's still around to mess with you.
