And here I thought I've done them all...

I discovered something new today in fanfiction! To tell you the truth, in the seven or eight years I've been reading fanfics, I've done a lot of stuff. And after I got into slash, I thought I had done them all. So to discover something new today is definitely a joy.

Today, I was reading a H/D fic that had a "felching warning." When I first read it, I wondered to myself, what the hell is this "felching"? I wondered if it was a new kink that I hadn't explored before, if it was anything like fisting (which when I first read about totally blew my 13 year old mind away) but it wasn't anything like that.

Now that I have read it, I'm a bit disappointed. I can see why there would be a warning for it but as far as weird fetishes go, it wasn't that high in the squick factor. Sure, I've been desensitized a bit when it comes to this sort of stuff but I've been known to be shocked every so often. It's just that this wasn't one of those times.

But it was nice finding something that I had never read before. And the story was okay. A bit too clinical for me, which I've found happens a bit too often with squicky stories so it wasn't as great as it could have been. Plus, I think felching is going to go the way of water-sports -- I will never understand their allure. It just doesn't seem to be a pleasurable act (well, more so with the water-sports but I guess I could understand felching).

Now I kinda wanna get squicked badly. It's weird how these sort of stories awaken weird desires within you.... :\
