I just made up possible spring schedules and the best one has me having 8:55 AM Physics lab/recitation which I'm not all too keen about that. Right now the earliest classes I have are at 9:30 which is a lot different than 8:55. And I'll have to write up my lab reports more than a day in advance because I won't be able to print them the day of any more...

I'm going to take Gene Structure and Function, a two and a half hour course which is pretty long considering a normal course is only one and a quarter hour long. But then again, it is once a week as opposed to twice a week normally so I guess it adds up. I just hope I won't be wanting to kill myself with this stuff. I'm okay with genes and I think it's fascinating so hopefully I will be okay with it.

I'm also going to take "Japanese Language and Structure in Mass Media" as a way to try and get at conversational Japanese a bit. I want to be better with the oral bit since I'm really weak with it so this should be interesting. We'll be watching Japanese shows, all in their raw forms and I've been told to expect movies, dramas, TV shows, documentaries -- without subtitles. It sounds scary but also very interesting. I hope I get in because if I don't, then I have no idea what I'm going to do for my third class. I really don't want to take Vertebrate Anatomy because it really doesn't fit into my schedule if I want to work and I want to work. With it as I want it now, I'll be getting about 17.5 hours of work done each week with work done on all days except Wednesday. I'm thinking of taking out Tuesday though -- it's only 3.5 hours which is a lot but at the same time, I feel as if I need at least one day for myself. Fridays is completely free so it's a prime time to work and Tuesdays, I'll have class up to 12:15 PM so I can work the rest of the day. Three days a week and 14 hours of work really isn't all that bad. It's more than I work now in fact so it's all good. We'll see I guess... :\

Eh, I'm not so sure about that yet... They're going to go to a recount but it is a very good sign that Webb is ahead so I'm very hopeful. And I'm hoping for Montana too because winning the Senate would be so very cool.

The AP has confirmed the victories for both states. CNN has quoted them, so it seems like it's fairly certain, but yeah, it's still iffy.

But Allen has promised not to draw it out though. Jebus, what is so hard about counting votes? It's not like we're doing it by hand!

Allen has promised not to draw it out but he'll probably do a recount anyway since I can't imagine him not if it'll be paid for by the state. And they have to do that thing before they can recount, right? And the recount itself will take a while if their Attorney General elections are anything to go by... But still feeling very hopeful. Cautiously hopeful but hopeful nonetheless. :)
