sherryillkTeresa's, the first restaurant me and Janet went to as the start of our restaurant exploration, has closed down! T_T I am just floored. I woke up to this post on ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
newyorkers and I was just in shocked. I'm going to miss their pierogies, their freaking huge plates of food, their random assortment of bread... I wanted to try their other blintzes! :(
I guess this means I'll have to go over to Polonia to get good Polish food. But I just wish I could take Teresa's friendly service along with me since I've heard the people are rather mean to you over at Polonia... Still, good pierogies are probably a must. And I have to hit Veselka's as well since I've walked past that place for years now and have never gone in. Ukrainian food does sound interesting...
In other news, Last.fm's submission server is apparently down for me which is rather disappointing since I had recently discovered iSproggler which allows me to update my profile with songs I listen to on my iPod. This is so long overdue. I mean I probably listen to 80% of music on my iPod and that more reflects my tastes in music more than anything else. But the submission server is down so I'll have to wait until it's back up again for my songs to be sent. :\
And to make things worse? LJ is acting really wonky for me today as well... I've had to do multiple refreshes on the same page just so they'll show... What is with the internet today anyway?
And a last bit about me. Apparently cuts on your butt bleed a lot. Oh, and they hurt a hell of a lot as well. I didn't know that. But I guess a really sharp blade might have also contributed to that... God, I hate being a girl... :(
Lastly? Allergies have attacked me full force today. I woke up today with a stuffy, runny nose (how does that make sense at all?) and dry red eyes and I'm feeling pretty awful. And my manga didn't come today and I was expecting it would so I'm a bit pissed off in that respect. To top it all all, it's hot, I'm thirsty and all in all, I feel as though I might have gotten more satisfaction out of the last hour and a half that I had been awake if I had just kept sleeping...
