Ramblings about Heat, Scrubs, Games, etc (Updated 8/8/07 with more Scrubs links)

I don't know why this house is like temperature retarded. It's hot during the day, unnaturally so since it's only like 80s outside (which in Hood River is rather temperate and nice) and then when night comes, it's so cold that I'm tempted to turn on the heat despite the fact that it's practically July... *rolls eyes* I'm tempted right now to turn on the A/C but I think I should probably maybe open a window instead... Even if I'm assaulted by pollen, I took a Claritin so it'll probably be okay.

Anyway, what have I been doing? Diana came back last week and we played a lot of Big Brain Academy for the Wii. I've kept playing it now since she's been gone... What gets me is that Kent comes home for like two days and in that space of time, he manages to beat all of our records, seemingly effortlessly. His score is now 1881 which is ridiculously high and so very wrong... *sniffs* I was able to get up to the 1800s (A--) but I can't beat his score. And now he's here threatening to beat his own score... :(

I seem to have fallen in this weird game phase. Just a couple days ago, I figured out a way to put all 14 iPod games on my iPod and now I have them all for free! I feel as though I should feel a little bad about committing this crime but I don't really... I also found a way to put games on my RAZR even though that took a lot more time than it did for the iPod. I had to go through so many different programs since my old program to put songs on my phone wouldn't install the games... :\ Still, it was worth it because now I finally got rid of that stupid Bejeweled demo and I have so many more games! Yahtzee has totally captivated me for some odd reason... I think I get mesmerized by the dice... ^^;;;

The only complaint I have about the whole process is that no matter what the game, it seems to drain battery life like a freaking leech sucking blood. On the iPod, I see this especially -- just one game of Texas Hold 'em and my battery is like dead despite having a pretty full one beforehand. Still, that doesn't deter me from playing the games. I'll admit, despite my vow to stay far, far away, I've fallen for Sudoku. T_T I never wanted to be one of those people who spend hours playing but it's just really addicting! And it's a nice change from Solitaire which I think I've played to death...

So, this weekend, David, Diana's boyfriend came over and whenever there's something going on in my life, I seem to pause in my life. As such, anime, fanfics, everything that I've been doing for fun seems to stop and everything starts revolving around that disturbance in my life. It's weird but I can't seem to deal with things happening in my life without focusing solely on them. Anyway, this has to deal with a bit about Scrubs.

A while back, I uploaded two episodes of Scrubs for yoshikochan in an effort to get her into the show. And lo and behold, she likes it! And she wanted more. And of course, I jumped at the chance to pimp more Scrubs to her. So I've uploaded a bunch of episodes of Scrubs for her. I paused a bit over the weekend but I've resumed. The only horrible about it that my internet connection seems to be going in and out which pisses me off a bit. It would be nice if it were reliable and I could count on it being here when I need it but...

Anyway, just in case someone else would like to try Scrubs, I'll leave the links for the episodes I've uploaded so far.
