Internet! After so long!

I'm currently in Ottawa, piggy-backing someone's unsecured wireless network to get online. I don't really want to get into the details of all the CRAP that it's taken me to get here but suffice to say, missing your flight by 15 minutes throws the BIGGEST, most ugliest kinks into your schedule. And I'm still dealing with it. Fucking hell. I'm so pissed off about the whole thing and it just sucks and I want to be at home now.
Tomorrow we're going to Toronto for the next couple of days but it seems like it'll only be for two nights and three days as opposed to three nights and four days... Fucking hell. This sucks. When I get to Toronto and things are a little more steady and all, I'll probably type up a long explaination about the whole thing but right now I just want to enjoy being online after not having regular internet since Thursday...
Ugh, things just suck right now. I can't wait until I'm back in Oregon and this is all over. Seriously, this is like the Canadian trip from HELL and I'm more or less soured on Delta and Canada. Although, my uncle and aunt are pretty awesome. Their kids are a bit too old for me and a little bit too Asian-y too so I don't really have much to talk about with them... *makes a face*
Parentals are with the uncle and aunt going to some sort of casino in Montreal but I'm here in their house hanging out with my computer. I miss New York already. And Canada freaks me out just a bit... Which is weird because I was never weirded out by Vancouver... Next time I ever plan a trip, I'm gonna go freaking crazy and become totally anal about getting to the airports on time.
Fucking Delta. So am never flying with them again if I can help it. It sucks my return flight is with freaking Delta because they so have been crossed off my list of acceptable flights. Fuckers. I'm trying to move on but this is going to take some horrible rearrangement of our schedule. *makes a face* I still need to inform my parents when they get back so maybe they can fix the schedule a bit so it'll all work. *sigh* Right now I'm going to try and relax a bit and enjoy the internet. Oh, internet, my old friend. When life sucks, move on so it won't keep on sucking the life and happiness out of you, right? That's what I'm trying to do but it really does feel like everything that could go wrong has basically gone wrong now. :( Like I said, Canada is not really enduring itself to me right now.
Whatever. Hopefully Toronto will be better. Tomorrow's apparently this big National holiday so we'll see how it is. I suspect we'll be roaming around a Chinese mall or something like that. And having dim sum because apparently that's the thing to do when you're Chinese and in a city that has a big (or any) Chinese population. I haven't had this much dim sum in like ever. It's kinda weird actually. Okay, gotta go. Tomorrow's an early flight and I've got about a thousand entries to get through on my flist.
edit x1: Oh, did I mention my phone died on me too? So that's another thing that's pissing me off a bit. My father took a call when it was practically monsooning in NYC and managed to kill my phone. Now I'm just praying that it'll just dry out and not have any sort of permanent water damage and I'll be able to use it again. I really don't want to get another phone... I mean three phones in four years is kinda stupid. :\ And T-mobile phones suck ass.

on 2008-05-19 06:06 pm (UTC)- turn it off and don't turn it back on, even if it appears to be doing fine
- take out the battery and dry the phone with, say, a hairdryer
- take it to the service center
And don't even think about turning the cell on until you do this - the corrosion will set in and there is high risk of the phone dying completely when it's working.
