Oh my god, I cried watching this episode. Like seriously, tears streaming down, my heart in my throat for both Rodney and especially John who didn't seem like he was dealing very well at all. And even with all the Keller and how they seem to be cramming McKay/Keller down our throats, it totally hit all my McShep buttons.
Oh my god, the pier scene with Rodney and John -- so perfect! Rodney trying to say good-bye and John absolutely not allowing it. That was really perfect. I love the way John handled it; his reactions seemed so typically John and JF totally captured it perfectly. And the way they giggled at the end, oh my god, the whole scene really just captures their relationship so perfectly. Even if they're not in love (which I totally think they are), they definitely are awesome friends.
And spot on acting by DH. He was absolutely perfect in this and god, it hurts to know this is the last season. I seriously feel like this season has been pretty good so far and this episode has got to be my favorite so far. So emotionally charged, so well-written and great acting. God, I really don't want this to be the end of SGA...
And come on episode tags! I want to read a nice, gut-wrenching, angst filled McShep story, both in Rodney's and John's POV. That would so hit the spot, especially since they ended the episode with a love declaration. *rolls eyes* I'm going to just write it off as maybe Rodney telling everyone individually he loves them and Keller was just watching hers or that Rodney was too emotionally distraught and said it impulsively because he knows he really loves John instead.
Oh, man, I want JF's panda shirt. So cute! ^^
