Buttered Popcorn Jelly Belly

sherryillkWhy would someone spend almost $70 on 10 lbs. buttered popcorn Jelly Bellys? Hell, why would anyone want 10 lbs. of buttered popcorn Jelly Bellys? I mean I like the flavor and all but 10 lbs?
And it really is uncanny how much it actually tastes of buttered popcorn. It's freaky but in a good way, I think. Although, I'll have to admit, my first reaction to it was "WTF, am I tasting grease?!" But after trying it out a few more times, I've fallen in love with it. Like I said, it's freaky how much it tastes like buttered popcorn. Yes, it's artificial but you taste the butter and then behind that flavor, you get the hint of popcorn and you automatically think "buttered popcorn." You just can't escape that. And I love it for that reason. And to think I was going for the toasted marshmallow flavor when I first tried it...
Although, come to think of it, I still have yet to try the toasted marshmallow. :\ And isn't there a latte flavor? I think I might have missed that one as well...

Because just like my overdose of Reese's Pieces/Penut Butter cups way back when, I did the same with the buttered popcorn jelly belly. I can't go near the stuff without wanting to hurl.
Funny, I don't have that problem with real popcorn.
I love watermelon and margerita flavored JBs. I think there might be a sangria flavor as well. If not, they better get on it, and make it!

on 2008-11-08 01:57 am (UTC)I'm not so fond of the margarita flavored jelly bellys and as far as we know, sangria is not an official flavor but they have a ton of unofficial flavors so who knows, maybe they have put one out in the past.
