Private Practice

sherryillkI haven't watched any Grey's Anatomy. Part of the reason is because I didn't want to be another girl jumping onto the Grey's Anatomy bandwagon. Another reason is that the show is centered on a woman and I have always had problems dealing with women. It's stupid and doesn't make sense but it's the truth.
But damn does Private Practice really, really, really makes me want to give it a shot. But what I love most about Private Practice doesn't extend to Grey's Anatomy since I have this thing for Cooper/Charlotte that I feel extremely invested in. They're so messed up yet they seem to have the best, most viable relationship on that show. Week after week, I yearn for more of their relationship because I want it to work out. And damn, that Charlotte is a very perceptive woman. That whole bit about the first baby moments seemed so insightful... And it's stuff like that that makes me want to try Grey's Anatomy.
I'm not exactly wanting to add new TV shows to my watch list but I'm tempted. I am a bit leery about the Addison parts since I quite like her from Private Practice and from what I've read, Grey's Anatomy doesn't show her in quite a favorable light. Still, I'm at the very least interested in watching all her episodes, just so I know everything about her... Right now I'm just going to stream some of the episodes since I don't really want to download them all... That should be good, right? :\
