sherryillkI saw the two episodes tonight and they were absolutely AMAZING!!! Not a lot of MerDer but a TON about Addek! Oh my god, that was the best GA episode I've ever seen! And one of the few that I've seen in its entirety because generally I skip all the scenes with MerDer and some of the ones that don't really involve Derek or Addison. But damn, what a great episode! Both of them were absolutely great but with my GA craze going on right now, I was all about the GA episode.
And the love song! The greatest love song ever written! I had to go and transcribe it because it was that awesome. It's really too bad it wasn't in its entirety though... Only one verse and the chorus... :(
Anyway, the love song Derek wrote for Addison (partly with Mark) and sung at their wedding (I totally teared up while crazily squeeing), playing with his guitar:

I totally agree with Mark in that it's the greatest love song ever written... So corny yet so sweet. And there was a bit that we didn't get with the line that Mark wrote where they rhyme "gross anatomy class" with "Addison's finances." edit x1: Apparently, that was "Addison's fine ass." Damn, I thought I had heard it right but I guess not...
And damn, Kate Walsh has a really beautiful voice. And I loved the look on Derek's face when Addison was singing. I can just listen to that bit forever.
And the PP episode was pretty damn good! I love the little tidbits about Addison and Derek's life, how we learn about the Hot Dog Thanksgiving and how Derek's mother never really liked Addison.
I've got to say, that was a bit disappointing considering all the fics where she was all so loving and supportive of Addison after the affair... Those are all dashed now. :( Oh well... Derek said his mother loved Addison back in Season 2 so I guess they took that at his word. And now we know the truth. *sigh*
And Archer, damn it, he's such a manwhore. And a bit crazy... But I guess we already kinda knew it. But at least he really likes Naomi...even if I think Sam still really loves Naomi. And hopefully they'll make their way back to each other sooner or later.
The next week's episode is still another crossover! I know the GA episode is at least but I don't know anything about the PP episode but I hope it continues on as well. *sigh* So neat having these shows cross over, so very, very neat. I'm babbling but I just finished watching these two episodes twice (some scenes way more times than that) and I'm still riding that high.
And did I catch the fact that Archer slept with Mark's wife? Or did I misunderstood? o.O Eh, well, I still haven't gotten past S3E04 of GA yet so I don't know much about Mark's particulars...
*sigh* This was good. Even if Coop/Charlotte seems to be on their death throes. That was the pairing I really liked on PA. And damn, Charlotte is seriously so insightful. I was marveling over her whole bit about the baby experience and now about the best friend... She just appeals to me and I'm really pulling for the two of them to get it together (and for Violet to finally pull herself together and let him go already because she's kinda ruining his relationship).
Next week! I hope it's as good as this week. I was so anxious about today's episodes and so scared about what I would see but it turned out to be awesome because there was practically no MerDer (aside from a few comments from Meredith about how she didn't know Derek and I totally cheered and chanted "yes, doubts, doubts, doubts!" at her) but I don't think next week will be as nice. At least that's what I get from the little summary of next week's GA... Meredith finds out about Derek's secret talent? The fact that she's in the two line little blurb makes me think she's going to play a big part of the show and I don't want to see it!
But I do. I really do. This week will go a bit better though. I have these two episodes to rewatch over and over again to tide me over because damn, such great two episodes!!!
And I hope next week we'll see more familiar interaction between Derek and Addison. That little bump and press of the body at the end of the surgery was so sweet... I totally am squeeing right now thinking about it. ^^ Love, love, love so much love!
