Drop Dead Diva is over! T_T
This show was one of my bright spots in my TV watching schedule... The last episode was definitely a doozy but definitely a good one! And the bombshell they dropped on the finale...! Oh my god, how am I going to be able to wait for the second season when I love this show so much and I just wish I had more of it right now?
What sucks is that there isn't even any decent fan fiction to feast on while I'm in limbo in between these two seasons... *sigh* And with my luck, it'll probably come back next summer... :( Not cool, not cool at all... I mean, it's such a fun and smart show. And cute. It's so easy to just watch it and instantly like it, no thinking required. That's more than I can say about some of the new shows I've been following -- each one has me thinking about them in overdrive -- do I like it, do I hate it, is it too slow, is it going to fast, did that make sense, does it deliver, blah, blah, blah. But something like Drop Dead Diva is nice -- I heard nothing about it when I first started watching it so no expectations, no preconceptions to dash, nothing. And I have no idea where it's going and I'm willing not to speculate and just take it as is and let them direct me. I need more shows like that... At least, more good shows like that because it would have to first not suck for me to give up control of my brain...
Until season two, I guess... I just wish it'll get here sooner... Now I'm off to reading some nice D/M HL fics that I think I haven't read before. *gasp* I didn't even know that was possible. Or maybe, it's just that I've read them once so long ago that I've since forgotten since it's been like a decade since my heyday in HL fics.
I always did wonder if that could ever happen, read a fic once and completely forget about it and then rereading them as a seemingly new story years and years later despite it having been a story I had read before... Although, I'm not really sure how I can confirm that either way so I guess I'll never truly know. Oh well...
