Woah, woah, woah, is that Peter Wingfield I see on Caprica?

Oh my god, even old, I still adore that man.

And is it just me, or is his accent...not there? I loved that bit about him... But it does make me more excited for Caprica...even if it's still depressing me like BSG depressed me... Not as much but still, I don't get a kick out of this show and it doesn't make me happy. Why do I even watch it anyway? God, I have no idea...

Peter's older, but not old *g* (yet). I was very unhappy about the accent. That's Peter's *American* accent. I so wish he would just use his own voice. I'm having a tough time getting into Caprica. Don't know if I'll be able to keep it up.

I thought so! It had a quality to it that was American-like but it also wasn't quite there so I wasn't so sure about it. At the very least, I could tell his Welsh accent wasn't noticeable which perplexed me. And disappointed me.

And he's pretty old... I still remember him as being that boyish looking Methos so I guess a part of me longs for those days.

Caprica is better than BSG, for me at the very least. It's certainly much more accessible which I know is something they were really trying hard on. At the very least, we'll have more Peter and yay, another on-screen gay couple too! It'll keep me tuning in for at least a couple more weeks.

*laughs* Well, I can't consider him old when he's 6 years younger than I am and I'm not old. But, yes, he's certainly too old to fit in Methos' skin any longer and I do miss that guy and his youngish looks.

As for the accent we talk about it here: (un f-locked so you can view)

Yeah, he's lot older than I am... *bites lip* I guess I'm still of that mentality that anyone older than 40 is really old to me... But seeing as I once thought that about people older than 30, I can only assume it'll just keep on moving up as I get older...

And LOL, did you add me as a friend just for that? Anyway, thanks! ^^

Oh goodness! 40 is the new 30 and 50 is the new 40. We're getting younger every year. Adrian (who turned 50 this year is a new daddy). In many ways age is simply a state of mind. I couldn't wait until I turned 40 because my daughter would be 20 and my husband and I would be free, free, free!

*coffs* Until God decided I was having way too much fun and I got pregnant again when she was 15 and had to start all over. That child just turned 18 this past June.

Except for the aches and pains of older bodies, I haven't found my biological age to make any difference at all.

Oh, added you as a friend when I noted that you weren't just a Peter fan, but a fanfiction fan and a Duncan/Methos fan as well. And we have some mutual friends on our list. Do you mind?

I go into a minor panic attack every time I think of the fact that I turn 25 this year and after that, 30 is just a small jump away. Somehow I can't help but think every birthday is just another year towards the inevitable end... >< Why can't we be Immortal like Duncan and Methos? :(

Heh, D/M was my first slash pairing! It opened my eyes and mind to this wonderful world and I've never looked back... I do miss the HL fandom though -- it still remains the best I've ever been in. And I added you back! ^^
