There are times when I read or watch Fairy Tail, that I'm just absolutely struck with how awesome the side characters are... I mean, if I had to name a favorite character, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a main character. I've already gone on and on and on about my love for Loki and while this latest episode (45) shows off some of Loki's awesome parts, I'm also reminded of how great Juvia is.
I mean, ever since she fell for Gray and started her stalking thing, I've been completely taken with her. She's funny and sweet and oddly innocent... As a character, I suspect she's my favorite female character, and without contest as well. With Loki, well, he kinda has to fight it out with Mystogan, who is beyond awesome and anyone who has been reading the latest arc would probably agree. It's too bad about him though -- maybe if Jellal somehow ends up good again, I can shift my love over to him? *shrugs*
Okay, back to the episode! I must watch Juvia's awesome moment one more time!

The Fairy Tail anime is pretty good though and it's still early enough in the series that it doesn't feel like a massive mountain of episodes you have to watch to catch up.
