Does this really mean there's no more? No seventh season?!

So that ending montage... Likes and dislikes -- Toshi was Goro's catcher again!!! I swear, ever since the first season where little chibi Goro taught little chibi Toshi to play catch together, I have adored Toshiya. And I just love the idea of them as a battery together! It's too bad I only got to see a little of it during season 5 and a bit during the Kaido arc but to tease us with Toshi in America with Goro is just too much! Does this mean I actually have to read the manga? Oh noes, I kinda blew that scanlation team off -- now I feel kinda bad leeching their manga.

But I guess to make up for Toshi, the Hornets lost Keene... Boo... I actually quite warmed up to him. And seeing as how he was lauded as the guy who will keep the Hornets together, to have him leave (and join their major rival team?!) seems sad. I know trades and transfers are common in sports but it's still is sad. AND THE RAIDERS GET MAYUMURA TOO?! Double boo!

It made me squee a little with Watts and Joe Gibson both being managers now. I guess I should have predicted that but honestly, it never occurred to me...

Wow, this like an end of an era for me... I've been following Major for how long now? Since it came out as an anime! Wow, six years... Aside from that little hiccup during season four where I kinda lost interest a bit (it came back strong for season five and six!), I have been an avid and loyal follower. Man, I already miss it...

Supposedly, there's an OVA coming this winter -- I can't wait but I wonder what it will be about... I mean, they've done an eight year time jump at the end -- will we see some of what happened during those eight years? :\

Huh, looking at some of the scanlations out, it seems like the main group who's doing it are not as far along as I thought they would be... :\ Oh dear, maybe I shouldn't have just blew them off? (Especially since it seems like they've dropped Major...) But at the time, I didn't want to spoil the anime for me! Maybe I should go and read raws? Translate raws? Gah, I don't know! I just want more Major!

But I probably should get back to working on Hanagata, seeing as I haven't touched it for a month... *sigh* It's not like Deadbeats has done anything with Hanagata either so really, I don't think it matters if I translate for them or not. They just don't have enough editors or really, even just staff to help them clean raws and typeset so who knows when they might get someone working on it? I've given them all but one chapter of the second volume but they've still done nothing. It'll be nice to work with a group that actually does something with my translations... Perhaps it's time to troll for another scanlation group to join? :\

Okay, I think I'm off to rewatch season five. I gotta say again, that has got to be one of my favorite seasons of Major...

Somebody said they crammed and skipped at least 5-6 volumes in the last 2 episodes especially in the ending scene and lots of the story line is in the missing volumes

It's so frustrating! And with nobody scanlating the manga, there's nothing we can do unless we read it for ourselves... I seriously hope that last scene was just because they weren't sure if they were going to get a seventh season and they wanted to end it with an ending...and that they do get a seventh season and really end it like it was meant to be ended...

Or, I'm just gonna have to buckle down and start reading the raws...
