My mind should be with Oregon (go Ducks!) but all I can do is think about the snow... God, I love snow... I love snow so much and it was such a pleasant surprise seeing it today! I wasn't expecting it until that supposedly "big" storm was going to hit on Wednesday and we were going to get 8 inches of snow for three days...

Sure it's not much now but if it continues, it could be more. Hopefully, anyway. As I see it now, I suspect the schools are only going to get a two hour delay (although, if it were Portland, it would so be a snow day, those wimps).

Anyway, hopefully there's a lot of it. And hopefully I can drive in it to work even if there is a lot. And then all my worries will be with Oregon as they play for the BCS Championship! They're saying Auburn is favored by three points which is doable... Well, the Seahawks pulled off a minor miracle (actually probably the win again the Rams and getting in the Playoffs was the minor miracle, winning against the Saints is a full blown one) in the Wild Card so why can't Oregon pull off something that is much less than a miracle?

So, GO DUCKS!

And GO SNOW!

edit x1: No delay, sucks to be a kid. But that also means the snow levels aren't substantial...How very disappointing.

LOL. I grew up always hoping for a snow day, alas this side of the mountain doesn't seem to be stopped by anything.

Yay, Ducks! I have to work.

I know! I can't even count the number of times it would take us over two hours to get to school with two buses in ditches, and over half the school not even attempting the trip, we still would have a regular school day. We used to have a lot of fun calling up the superintendent from school complaining about it... The next day, we would inevitably be compensated by at least an hour delay even if an actual snow day was extremely rare.
