Glee thoughts!

Anyway, what I loved? All the Blaine moments! Sure, all that crap he unloaded on Sam was not cool and really mean but I personally think he only snapped because of the praise Finn showered on Sam and somehow Sam got caught in the crossfire, sort of an innocent bystander who got a lot of grief that he didn't deserve. What he should have done is unloaded on Finn, which he kinda did.

This boxer!Blaine? Not the biggest fan but only because I don't like boxing...

Still, it seems like his altercation with Sam has been swept under a rug. They seemed okay with each other during their Sectionals performance and afterward so I'm guessing they reconciled off screen? *shrugs* I don't know.

Oh, one last bit of Sam? Is it possible but Sam and Mercedes is even more cuter than it was last season! I really hope they get back together because they seriously are cute together! And it seems like Mercedes does still feel something for Sam so I'm hoping she'll kick Shane to the curb sometime soon.

I am sad that the only bit of Sebastian we got was the one where it was leaked on EW though... I'm seriously intrigued by his character and I wish there was more to him. Sure, he showed up to their Sectionals, but so did other Warblers? Dalton students who are Blaine's friends who aren't Warblers (because I didn't recognize them among the Warblers in Uptown Girl) so it doesn't seem as big of a deal. But we got that awesome leap from Kurt because he felt threatened which was pretty awesome. I don't even think Blaine noticed his presence though.

Song-wise, most of them were really good! I LOVE the end song! I don't know it, at least I don't think I know it. But so many people were showcased and it sounded awesome and fun and it fit with the overall message of the episode. Plus, it was really cute how they reunited!

And this means end of crazy!Quinn. I hope never to see her again. Her at Yale would be amazing. And that friendship with Rachel is something I totally approve of.

Anyway, when I heard Buenos Aires, I figured the Unitards lost. And though the I'm a Survivor/Survivor mashup sounded okay, the dancing in it was awful. I looked away and it was fine but those weird arm movements was just messy.

As for the New Directions, the ABC song was fun but Control... Gah, easily my least favorite song of the night. And I think it might be my least favorite Blaine song... And I count those god awful bonus tracks on the Warblers CD AND Candles. Even what they did to my beloved Animal isn't as bad as this song. A lot of it has to the fact that it just doesn't sound fun to listen to. And I didn't know song so no bonus points. I will admit, there were moments where Artie sounded good on it. And while Blaine didn't sound bad, I just didn't like it...

MAN IN THE MIRROR THOUGH!!!! Oh my god, those who know me, KNOW Man in the Mirror is my favorite Michael Jackson song and I had heard Blaine had a singing moment in it and he does!! So much love though! Even if wasn't in it, I would LOVE it anyway. But with him in it, oh yeah, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! This is the one song I need NOW. I think it ties with We Are Young, but I would say it edges out We Are Young because I love the original and because it has a bit of Blaine in it. But the fact that We Are Young ranked up there tells you how much I loved the song...

That being said, I still want more Blaine. Lots more Blaine. And frankly, I want more Blaine acting couple-ly with Kurt! I mean, in that last song? If you compare them with Mike and Tina, they were hugging each other, sitting right next to each other pretty much the entire song but Kurt and Blaine weren't even close to each other... They are practically on opposite sides of the stage! And Blaine was alone for pretty much the entire song, isolated by the rest of the ND until the very end where Mr. Shue puts his arm around him (and it makes me sad that he seemed so happy to get that from him). We did get them holding each other after the performance and Kurt did put his hand on top of Blaine's at the Lima Bean (but that was prompted by the threat of Sebastian) and other than that, we don't get much couple vibes from them. :\

Oh, a different tangent, maybe next week will rectify that? It looks like it'll be an extremely cute episode with lots of Blaine and Blaine with Kurt so I'm feeling hopeful. Overall, this episode didn't disappoint me. But I wasn't blown away either. Hopefully it'll happen eventually, like with Original Songs where my mind was a babbling mess afterward.

And before I forget, kudos for Darren's acting. Overall, most believable episode yet. Yay!

edit x1: LOL, I just realized they all two-stepped during Man In The Mirror... LOL, Dalton/Warblers reference! ^^
