First, yuck, the lip sync on Wanna Be Starting Something sucks. And that's putting it mildly -- it's not synced in any which way or form. I think it's just there to highlight the dancing which was good even if it seemed like Darren was trying too hard. But I just hate a bad lip sync and this was worse than some of the Jpop stuff I used to watch and that's saying something.

Not in love with the song but then again, I'm not in love with Michael Jackson. I'm with you Rachel, I don't get the all the fuss either. And I don't think I've ever heard WBSS before... :\

Smooth Criminal however, seemed AWESOME in the behind the scenes. I am just loving Sebastian more and more! I thought he would be like the son of Satan or evil incarnate or whatever but he really hasn't been that bad in canon. A little smarmy, but that's about it. And with every appearance, I think I'm liking him a little bit more. I'm still on Team Kurt and think Blaine and he are MEANT TO BE but I wouldn't mind Sebastian having some genuine feelings for Blaine every once in a while.

Lastly, the preview that was just released -- damn, Blaine you really were guilty of blabbing! But I love how Kurt isn't even bothering to hide his dislike of Sebastian in front of Blaine any more. I can't wait to see them have a real showdown. And really Warblers, you let this guy become your Captain?! What happened to the Council? Has it been disbanded in favor of Sebastian because the vast void Blaine left them in has clearly driven them insane? Seriously, my opinion of them has dropped considerably.

But I can't wait to read fanfics based on this episode! Or even from these spoilers in the next couple of days! And I've got to say, my enthusiasm for this episode has grown 100%! I can't wait until it's Tuesday! Why isn't it Tuesday yet? I wasn't even this excited for TFT.

I do agree with you on the lip syncing on Wanna Be Startin Somethin, not their best work. But I got to say that I love this song and I think Darren did a great job covering it. I don't think that Darren was trying too hard. I've seen him live and his other musicals and he always gives 110% to everything he does. Ok, but enough of that.

Ok now where did you see the behind the scenes for this ep? I am surfing the net looking for anything that's related to this episode and all I found was teaser trailers and the full performance clip of WBSS. Also what about this new preview? I also want to see Blaine babbling and Kurt hating on Sebastian without caring who notices. Help would be very much apreciated :)

I love Darren but if you look on his face, he's clearly concentrating on the dance moves way more than getting the lip sync right and it shows on his face. I realize it's a hard song to sync perfectly, but I felt like the scene should have been a lot more effortless and much more seamless. I doubt I'll ever love the song and I had hoped the visuals would make me like it a bit more but right now I'm just getting second-hand embarrassment from it. :\

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I've just been watching Darren's facial expressions since 2009 and I'm getting better at not getting second hand embarrassment from them :) Maybe you're right and he was concentrationg too much on the dance moves, but I think he pulled them off great.

I'm gonna give Darren the benefit of the doubt and blame edinting for this.

Oh, no doubt, the dancing is the saving grace of the whole performance. I think they all did admirably, including Darren. Still, this probably could have benefited from more time practicing and rehearsing, which they probably would have had TPTB weren't intent on cramming a gazillion performances in this episode.

And back in 2009, I don't think I was even thinking about Darren's facial expressions when I was marveling over AVPM. I only wish I had been as motivated in college as StarKid was...

I think it was also lack of rehearsing that made the lip sync fiasco. I don't know if you caught an interview that Darren did and he mentioned that everything that he did in the 'Michael' he filmedin four hours or days, not sure. That rusch could have played a big part with his performance.

And yeah, Glee sucks at rushing everything. It's bad enough that all their episodes end up taking longer to film than necessary but they had to cram all this stuff for Darren right before he left for H2$ that I imagine he was feeling horribly rushed through it all. I don't blame him but I just wish it could have been better. (But then again, if I don't like the original song, it's pretty hard for me to like the covers no matter what song it is. The fact that it's Darren singing it is probably the only reason why I'll listen to it more than once.)

I think the problem with Blaine is that he doesn't think of Sebastian as the enemy. Maybe it's the fact that he's a Warbler and Blaine still has a lot of good feeling towards them that Sebastian benefits from, but he seems to be incredibly clueless in regards to Sebastian. But I'm probably in the minority here, but I've loved the Sebastian character from the beginning, even if Grant's earlier acting on Glee has left me a bit less enthused. I'm not sure he belongs with Blaine but gay visibility is always a good thing in my mind and if he manages to bring drama with him, I'm all for it. It's just more fun that way. ^^

Yes Glee has been known for rushing things. Sometimes it works out for the better. But the majority of the time,yeah not so much. But as a loyal fan I love every minute of it :) Even if I see it's flaws.

Blaine does have that problem of being clueless to important things that are going on around him. First with Kurt and now with Sebastian being the enemy/homewrecker! And bless Blaine's wonderful heart in believeig the best in people, always thinking others have good intentions. He should have learned his lesson when dealing with Finn and Santana.
Yes I agree with you that Sebastian is taking advantage of the fact that Blaine is friends with the Warblers and doesn't think of them as competition or that they'll do anything unsavory for the sake of winning. And with that clip that we saw I hope he'll learn that lesson.

I also liked Sebastians character from the beginning too. Granted I wasn't too thrilled that there was gonna be someone that might disturbe the peace with Blaine and Kurt. Then when I saw the jealousy and posessiveness that it brought out in Kurt I just couldn't really hate Sebastian. I like that he's stirring the pot with those two.

I can't wait for the 'Michael' episode so that everyone (especially Blaine) will see Sebastian's true colors! It's going to be awesome.

I think to be a fan of Glee, you have to embrace and forgive all its flaws. Otherwise, you would just end up miserable, hating it and yourself for watching it. Personally, I try not to think about it too much, it only leads to bad things.

Actually, I'm not sure Blaine believes the best in people. I think he just didn't think about it. He probably was just tossing out something random, to make conversation and didn't even think about the ramifications at all. He would have been served well if he had just stopped to think, "hey, if this guy is half as untrustworthy as Kurt thinks he is, maybe I should be a bit more guarded," but I get the feeling he didn't think anything about whether or not he should be talking about their MJ idea or about who he was saying it to. But that's my guess -- we'll have to see on Tuesday how it really went down.

Kurt and Blaine have gotten boring in my opinion. It's why I read fanfic about them -- if I subsisted only on canon, I would probably have lost interest by now so anything Sebastian can do that would let us see a bit more about Kurt or Blaine or Kurt and Blaine together is fine by me. Especially if it's anything about Blaine since his character needs some serious fleshing out and if Sebastian is the vehicle for that for the viewer, then that's totally cool.

Have you read all the freakin' spoilers/speculation for the 'Michael' episode?? It was posted today th 30th. I don't know if I should trust these rumors or not, but some seem legit.
There will be kisses. Samcedes for sure, dictating by the promo, and possible Finchel, but the one that interest me is that there will be a Klaine kiss. My fingers are crossed on that one. Oh and by speculationo n the order of the songs it seems that Blaine will be slushied very early on in the episode.
Another speculation is that Kurt, Rachel and Finn sing 'Ben' to Blaine while visiting him. Where or for what reason I'm not sure.

Ok I know there's more stuff to say but I need to revisit the post to see if there is anything that is interesting.

What do you think about all this? I'm so excited I just want it to be tomorrow already!!!

Alas, I've been trying my best not to be spoiled any more for Glee since I've found it greatly diminishes my enjoyment of the show, and when the show is already sucking, every little bit counts, right? But I suck at that, so I still manage to get spoiled on almost every major thing.

I didn't know about the possible kiss between Kurt and Blaine though. But I always start each episode of Glee hoping they would at least touch each other, or at the very least, sit towards each other since most of the time, even on the rare occasions they're sitting next to each other, their body language has them shifted away from each other.

From what I remember, the speculation that Kurt, Rachel, and Finn sing "Ben" to Blaine is because when they were filming, they filmed at an Elks Lodge that was supposed to be Blaine's house. It makes sense that "Ben" would happen there, if it is to be believed that they're singing the song to him because where else would that combination of people happen again in the episode?

Anyway, I guess it'll happen soon enough. Only 13 hours more to go! A majority of which I will be asleep for, so I'm thankful for that. ;)

Ok I should stop looking for spoilers for today's episode because it's only 8 hrs away now!!! That should go by quickly, I hope.
If you saw Jay Leno last night because Chris Colfer was a guest then you would have seen another spoiler that concerns Blaine. You could just tell by his facial features and the smile that he couldn't get off his face that he's so in love with Kurt. If you didn't watch the show then I will not spoil that clip they showed.
This better be an awesome episode.
