sherryillkI finally got sheets for my new dorm. Finally. I was beginning to despair that I might never get sheets in the color that I liked and would fit my new bed. It's really hard finding XL twin sheets with much variety. After going three different places, I finally ordered a set of sheets from the JCPenny catalogue in wedgewood. It's like a light blue color, a bit softer than sky blue, almost pastel in color.
The problem now is finding a good comforter that would match my sheets. :\ I don't really know what would work since JCPenny doesn't really have a comforter in wedgewood. They do have a navy blue/french blue reversible that might work but the french blue is a bit harsher than wedgewood and the navy is way darker. I might have to go to some other place to find a good color.
It's also kinda hard finding a duvet cover for the comforter in a good color. They come in solid colors from JCPenny and it would either be the harsh french blue or the way dark navy blue. I'm not really a blue person. I'm kinda regretting not choosing rosedust since the sheets I have now are pinkish in color. I'm going to miss them... My duvet cover right now is a pink floral print -- going from nice cherry colors to not is going to be an adjustment.
I just made reservations on a flight. :( I'm going to NY on Saturday at 6:00 AM and arriving at La Guardia at 3:54 PM. It's earlier than what I thought it would be so I'm happy. But I'm still going to be leaving! It seems so real now. I don't know if I can take it.
But it's done. I'm going to be back for Thanksgiving. That'll be good because then I'll get to see all my relatives and everything. And this'll give me a chance to pass on some newly download anime to Diana and Nadine.
Oh! I've decided to get Kimeru's DVD and CD from YesAsia.com. It's going to be about $52 but the shipping is free so it'll still be cheaper than CDJapan. I can't get it off of Amazon Japan because you need a credit card for that and I don't have one... But I'll have it! I'm going to get it sent to my new dorm (since it's going to be released on the 25th and I'm leaving on the 28th) and I was going to have it ordered today but I don't have my roommate info yet. I wanna get the exact address for my dorm when I order it so there'll be no mix-ups what so ever. I mean it's Kimeru. How can I chance it? And what's another day or so?
I finally finished Annie Proulx's Accordion Crimes last week. It was a good read and I wasn't really bored through it like I was with a lot of my books I read for school in the last year. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to get out of it, but I don't feel like I'm totally in the dark when it comes to what it was about. It was a good book but I don't know what else to say about it.
