sherryillkI enjoy getting mail again. With all these freebies I'm signing up for and my free magazines, it's kinda cool getting the mail, never knowing what is going to come in the mail today.
Today, I got two letters, a box and a magazine. The box was from the Stella Artois company. A while back, they were offering chalices for free (at first it was for engraved chalices, but I found out about it too late to get in on that so I just got a normal, un-engraved chalice -- it's just as well, I would never have known what to engrave on it). Anyway, I got the chalice over a week ago but today, I open my front door and what do I see? Another box, just like the last one. I knew immediately that it was another chalice since I recognized the return address. But why an extra one? I only signed up for one chalice... It was all very weird.
But now I have an extra chalice. Sure, they have a beer company's logo on them, but one can never have too many free glasses, right? I don't even drink beer but if I did, I could use them to drink it. Or I can always use them as fancy water glasses.
One of the letters was my new Serve card. I originally signed up with them via FV since they enticed me with a buttload of FC. I never intended to use it but then they sent me a card. Still didn't intend on using it. But then as I was signing up for the $2 subscriptions of EW and SI, I realized what a benefit having a prepaid credit card would be. Something that doesn't have a lot of money on it. So when Zynga rolled out their new promotion (even more buttload of FC), I decided to actually try it out. And now I have a new card. I have yet to get my FC for activating it though. :\
After that goes through, then I'll add a small amount of money to get even more FC. Yay, a lot of FC!
The other letter was a disappointment. It was from President Barack Obama and the DNC and had the label, DO NOT BEND on it. I though it would be my Obama/Biden bumper sticker but alas, it was simply a two page letter (back and front too!) from the President asking for donations. What a letdown.
I'm poor so I have no money to donate but I was always going to vote for Obama anyway so that's just gonna have to do.
And yay, just refreshed the game, got my FC for activating the card! I'm at over 400 FC now! ^^
Now, if only I had something to spend all this FC on... I wish I cared about FV more... Maybe when this new Asian farm gets here there'll be tons to buy?
